The Chevrolet Colorado's current nationwide average price is $37,380 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $34,863 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Chevrolet Colorado a good car?

Yes — the Chevrolet Colorado is a strong used pickup choice if you want a compact footprint with real truck capability and broad versatility. The all-generations owner rating is 4.24/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise its balance of performance, comfort, and utility, along with its smooth ride and useful towing ability. Many also like the spacious cabin and the way it works well for both family use and job-site duty. Across the model years, the Colorado’s capability, styling, and easy-to-use technology come up often as recurring strengths.

Expert reviews rate the 2025 and 2024 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy, cabin materials that feel cheap, and some ergonomic quirks in the newer trucks. In the older generations, transmission concerns also show up often enough to matter when you are shopping used.

31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Chevrolet Colorado models reliable?

Owners and experts consistently point to the Colorado’s strong utility, comfortable ride, and versatile character as reasons it remains popular. The truck’s best-regarded versions tend to combine solid performance with everyday usability, which helps it feel like a practical long-term choice for many buyers.

• Owners rate the Chevrolet Colorado between 3.0 and 4.75 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is most tied to the specific model year and powertrain history, so a careful pre-purchase inspection matters.

• Z71: Adds off-road capability on top of the LT foundation, making it a strong choice if you want a more adventurous setup without going all the way to the top.
• Trail Boss: Adds an off-road-tuned suspension with a five-centimetre factory lift, a wider stance, all-terrain tires, Off-Road and Terrain driving modes, and hill descent control.

What Chevrolet Colorado do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Colorado years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular because they give you the broadest mix of recent features, current styling, and shopping choice. They also usually offer a better balance of availability and pricing than older, lower-volume model years.

What is the Chevrolet Colorado's resale value?

Most Colorado model years are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used because it creates more room for value. The newer models are also showing meaningful price drops, while a few older years are changing more slowly. That mix suggests the Colorado market is giving buyers several attractive entry points right now.

The 2015, 2023, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
