Absolutely love it. I wanted the 2020 convertible as it was the last year that the retractable hardtop was offered. Car was in excellent condition. And it being an M4 certainly sweetened the deal.

THIS... is a 2015 BMW 435i xDrive Coupe, finished in Alpine White with an Oyster interior. This 435i features the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. The attached Carfax history report indicates no mileage discrepancies in this 435i’s past. It also shows registrations in California and Georgia since new. According to the build sheet provided in the gallery, factory equipment includes the M Sport, Driver Assistance, and Cold Weather packages, variable sport steering, a power sunroof, Dakota leather upholstery, and dynamic cruise control. The only modification reported by the seller is a set of carbon fiber side mirror covers. BMW released the first 4 Series (F32) for the 2014 model year to replace the two-door 3 Series. Turning the coupe into a standalone model allowed engineers to make it lower and wider than the F30-generation 3 Series it was related to while fitting a sportier suspension system. Power comes from a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6, rated at 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission and BMWs xDrive permanent all-wheel drive system.

Bought CPO. Its my first BMW, but compares reasonably well to Mercedes C-Class and Audi A5 Sportback. Of the three, I prefer the Audi interior. It feels large and roomy inside and it drives nicely and has plenty of pick up if you floor it. The User interactions with the Infotainment system are reasonably intuitive. Some customizations require dealer intervention, but thats a minor niggle.

Why it stands out
The 2018 BMW 4 Series stands out as a premium two-door model that was designed to feel a little more special than the 3 Series spin-offs it replaced. BMW positioned it as something more than its 3 Series cousins, and the car’s lower, sleeker shape helps explain why. It also broadened the formula with the Gran Coupe, a five-door hatchback version of the coupe, giving buyers a body style that was unusual in this class. Even the Convertible followed the coupe’s lines closely, though its folding metal roof added weight and complexity and took up some trunk space when folded.
For 2018, the 4 Series had already moved to the updated 2017 model-year engines, so the lineup included the 430i and 440i. Both were turbocharged, with the 430i using an inline four-cylinder engine and the 440i an inline six. The car was also well equipped even in base form, with standard 17-inch alloy wheels, xenon headlights, automatic climate control, power front seats and BMW’s iDrive operating system. An early 2017 update added LED headlights for all models and a stiffer suspension for a sharper drive, which helps explain why the 4 Series is often described as enjoyable to drive.
That mix of performance, equipment and upscale feel is a big part of the appeal. Owners praise its quality, luxury features, smooth ride and sporty handling, and the available sound system and navigation add to the sense that this is a car built to feel polished. The main trade-offs are practical ones: some versions are expensive, and the convertible’s trunk space is limited.
