What BMW 4 Series do most buyers choose?

The BMW 4 Series years with the most listings are 2018, 2017, and 2019.

Those higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more choice at familiar price points. They also sit in the part of the range where you can balance equipment, age, and value without moving all the way into the newest-model pricing.

What is the BMW 4 Series's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, and several recent ones show double-digit declines. That pattern can work in your favour if you want a used BMW 4 Series with more room to negotiate. A few years are holding value better than the rest, and the newest model year is moving in the opposite direction.

The 2025, 2018, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the BMW 4 Series safe?

• 2021: 6/10
