Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: AcuraWatch, including forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, and adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Amazon Alexa Built-in, Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada fuel economy estimate is 11.2 litres per 100 kilometres combined (or 12.4 L/100 km for the Type S Ultra).

Which Acura MDX trim should I buy?

The 2026 Acura MDX offers these trims:

• Tech: The entry trim brings the 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system, making it the best-value choice for shoppers who want the newest tech without moving up the range.
• A-Spec: This trim adds a sportier look with styling changes and blacked-out exterior details, while keeping the MDX’s core comfort and technology.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: This version adds quilted leather upholstery, blacked-out wheels and exterior trim, a 10.5-inch head-up display, and a more upscale cabin presentation.
• Type S Ultra: The performance-focused trim adds a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6, adaptive air suspension, and other upgrades for stronger acceleration and sharper handling.

What Acura MDX do most buyers choose?

The Acura MDX years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also sit in the sweet spot where newer features and broader availability often overlap.

What is the Acura MDX's resale value?

Most MDX model years are down by double digits year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want stronger value. The newer models are also seeing meaningful price drops, so recent inventory can be especially attractive if you want updated features without paying new-car pricing. The pattern suggests broad softening across the lineup rather than isolated movement in just a few years.

The 2014, 2023, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
