New & Used 2026 Toyota Sienna for Sale near Fanny Bay, BC

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Toyota Sienna earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

It stands out as a family-focused minivan that covers the basics well, with power sliding side doors, three rows of comfortable seats, and plenty of expandable cargo room. It also comes with standard hybrid power and the best-in-class fuel economy for a minivan, which makes it especially appealing if you want to save fuel and simplify family life.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: its maximum cargo room is said to trail other minivans, the driving experience is described as boring, and the interior materials feel cheap. Even so, the market shows 35.6% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sienna is described as a practical, family-friendly minivan with standard hybrid power and available all-wheel drive, and Toyota’s reputation for long-term reliability is called out directly. Its hybrid system is presented as a core strength, and the cost-effectiveness commentary also notes generous trial subscriptions to connected services.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about durability and more about living with its weaker safety ratings and less polished cabin experience.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Toyota Sienna?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Canadian lineup includes LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited. The base trim is the most stripped-back, while higher trims add more convenience and luxury features. The cabin is also criticised for cheap-feeling materials, so it is worth checking whether the trim you want feels acceptable to you in person.
• Powertrain: Every Sienna is a hybrid with a 2.5-litre four-cylinder gas engine, a nickel-metal-hydride battery pack, and an electric motor. It makes 245 horsepower, and the available e-AWD system adds a rear electric motor on some trims.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes high beam assist, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and lane centring assist. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard too, while higher trims add a surround-view camera and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.
• Infotainment: The base setup uses an 8-inch touchscreen and a 7-inch partially digital instrument panel. A 12.3-inch touchscreen and 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster become standard on higher trims, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. Wireless charging is standard as well.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada says an AWD Sienna should consume 6.8 litres per 100 kilometres combined. In testing, it returned 7.6 L/100 km on a fuel-efficiency loop and 8.8 L/100 km on a mountainous route.

Which 2026 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core Sienna experience with hybrid power, standard wireless smartphone integration, and the practical sliding-door layout. It is the trim to consider if you want the lowest-cost way into the model.
• XLE: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen and brings more of the Sienna’s tech appeal without jumping all the way to the top end.
• XSE: This trim adds a sportier presentation and gets the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. If you want a more upscale-feeling driver’s environment, this is the one to look at.
• Limited: This is the most feature-rich trim, with standard e-AWD, a 12-speaker JBL audio system available, and access to extras such as the onboard vacuum and FridgeBox with the Platinum Package. It suits you best if you want the most convenience and are willing to pay for it.

Higher trim levels add a surround-view camera and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

Is the 2026 Toyota Sienna safe?

It does not qualify for a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS.

It earns a 4/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 includes high beam assist, forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and lane centring assist. Blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are standard too, while higher trims add a surround-view camera and front and rear parking sensors with low-speed automatic braking.

A notable shortcoming is the Marginal result in the updated IIHS moderate overlap front impact test that measures second-row occupant protection.

Should I buy a 2026 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard hybrid power, available AWD, and the best-in-class fuel economy for a minivan.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers strong fuel-saving appeal with available AWD and easier cargo use.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version with the same core strengths, the 2026 is the straightforward pick. If you are shopping on price and want the same family-friendly formula, the 2025 is the better value path to compare first.
