New & Used 2026 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearNanaimo, BC

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator earns a 7.7/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It’s a strong fit if you want a three-row SUV that feels more upscale and relaxing than the Ford Explorer it’s based on. The Aviator’s biggest strengths are its smooth ride and cossetting interior, and it keeps the Explorer’s more potent optional engine, which helps preserve decent towing capability. The trade-offs are clear: it sacrifices sportiness, handling can feel awkward, and the third row is a weak point with poor comfort. It’s also a pricey version of a Ford Explorer. With 22.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is positioned as a comfortable, upscale SUV rather than a hard-edged one, and its powertrain is described as strong and smooth with the transmission staying in the background most of the time. The ride quality is tuned for comfort, and the standard all-wheel-drive setup helps it feel secure in everyday use.

Lincoln also includes a broad standard safety suite, and the hands-free highway driving system is part of the package. The available Dynamic Handling package adds more control, which can help if you want a more settled feel from the chassis.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Aviator’s luxury focus can make repairs and upkeep more expensive than a mainstream SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Aviator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premiere gives you synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve adds leather upholstery and more upscale cabin touches. The Reserve is the better value if you want the richer interior and the extra equipment that comes with it.
• Powertrain: Every Aviator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 with a smooth 10-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It’s tuned for relaxed performance rather than sharp responses, but it still delivers strong passing power and decent towing capability.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving. There are no trim-level safety gaps noted.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen. The system includes Google Assistant and the Google Play store, plus a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, remote start, digital key functionality, eight USB ports, a wireless charging pad, a universal garage door opener, a head-up display, and a 14-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Aviator is rated at 13.8 L/100 km in the city, 9.5 L/100 km on the highway, and 11.9 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 2 trim levels: Premiere and Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the Aviator’s core luxury feel, synthetic leather upholstery, and the full standard safety and tech suite. It makes sense if you want the Aviator experience at the lowest price.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim if you want the Aviator to feel properly luxurious. It adds leather upholstery, ambient lighting, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, LED fog lights, and larger 21-inch wheels. It’s also the trim that can be paired with the Dynamic Handling package.

Lincoln makes all its safety features standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim for the core driver-assistance package.
