New & Used 2026 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearCoquitlam, BC

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator earns 7.67/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It’s a more luxurious take on the Ford Explorer formula, so you get family-hauling practicality, useful towing ability, and a much richer cabin in a three-row SUV. The ride is smooth and the interior is cossetting, which makes it a strong fit if you want comfort and refinement over sharp handling.

The trade-offs are clear: handling is awkward, the third row is poor for comfort, and you’re paying a premium for the added polish. Even so, 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is built around a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 and a smooth 10-speed automatic, and the powertrain stays in the background most of the time. It’s described as strong and smooth, with worry-free passing and a ride-focused character rather than a fussy one.

Lincoln also includes a broad standard safety and driver-assistance suite, which supports confidence in day-to-day use. The Aviator’s comfort-first tuning and standard equipment make it feel well sorted for regular family duty.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its premium positioning can make upkeep and repairs more expensive than a mainstream SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Aviator?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Premiere uses synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve adds leather upholstery in black, grey, bronze, or chocolate brown. The Reserve is the better-equipped choice if you want a more upscale cabin.
• Powertrain: Every Aviator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 with 383 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and standard AWD. It’s smooth and strong, with a comfort-first driving character.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard and includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen. Standard tech also includes wireless charging, a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, digital key functionality, eight USB ports, a head-up display, and a 14-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada rates it at 13.8 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 9.5 on the highway, and 11.9 combined.

Which 2026 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 2 trim levels: Premiere and Reserve.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it already gives you the core Aviator experience: the twin-turbo V6, standard AWD, the full safety suite, and the main infotainment hardware. It makes sense if you want the Aviator’s comfort and capability without stretching to the pricier trim.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim if you want the Aviator to feel properly luxurious. It adds real leather upholstery, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, a head-up display, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, and larger 21-inch wheels. It’s also the trim to choose if you want the available Dynamic Handling package.

Lincoln makes all its safety features standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim for the core driver-assistance package.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator safe?

It also received top “Good” scores in the small front overlap, updated moderate front overlap, and updated side crash tests from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), along with a “Good” score for its pedestrian front crash prevention system.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard, and it includes forward collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane centring steering, high beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.

The caveat is that it does not have a headlight rating, so it can’t qualify for a Top Safety Pick or Top Safety Pick+ award.

Should I buy a 2026 Lincoln Aviator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• It pairs a smooth ride with a cossetting interior and standard BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It offers distinctive styling and a calm, unhurried cabin.

The bottom line: Choose the 2026 if you want the latest version of the Aviator’s comfort-first luxury formula and you’re willing to pay for it. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look for its distinctive styling and strong luxury appeal.
