New & Used 2026 Hyundai Palisade for Sale near Coal Harbour, BC

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Hyundai Palisade earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a redesigned three-row SUV aimed at families who want more style than a minivan and nearly as much utility. The Palisade’s strengths are its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and broad appeal for everyday use, with the added bonus of multiple powertrain options. The main trade-offs are that the XRT trim gives up some luxury touches, and fuel economy trails the class leaders.

For shoppers who want a roomy, well-equipped family SUV with a premium feel, it makes a strong case for itself. 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

Hyundai positions the 2026 Palisade as a thoroughly improved redesign, and the expert assessment backs up that sense of refinement. The standard V6 is described as quiet and refined, the transmission shifts smoothly in daily driving, and the ride quality is comfortable without feeling floaty. Hyundai also backs the vehicle with a generous new-car warranty of five years or 100,000 kilometres, which is a useful ownership advantage for Canadian buyers.

The performance and ownership picture suggests a solid long-term proposition, but used buyers should still pay close attention to trim-specific equipment and maintenance history, especially if they’re considering a higher-use family SUV.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Preferred Trend trim gives you the core Palisade experience, while the XRT Pro adds off-road-oriented hardware but loses some luxury features. Luxury and Ultimate Calligraphy bring more premium equipment, so you should decide whether you value rugged capability or upscale comfort more.
• Powertrain: The standard setup is a 3.5-litre V6 with 287 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD in Canada. A hybrid is also available, using a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with two electric motors for a combined 329 hp and 339 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. XRT Pro adds side parking sensors and reverse automatic braking, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: Every Canadian model gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, along with onboard navigation. Ultimate Calligraphy also adds a 12-inch head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Most gas-only models are rated at 12.2 L/100 km city, 9.7 highway, and 11.1 combined. The XRT Pro rises to 14.3 L/100 km city, 10.6 highway, and 12.7 combined, while the hybrid is rated at 8.3 L/100 km city, 7.9 highway, and 8.1 combined.

Which 2026 Hyundai Palisade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred Trend, XRT Pro, Luxury, and Ultimate Calligraphy.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred Trend: This is the entry point and the best fit if you want the Palisade’s space, comfort, and standard tech without paying for extras you may not need. It gives you the core family-SUV package, including the standard safety suite and dual 12.3-inch displays.
• XRT Pro: This is the one to choose if you want the most adventurous version. It adds all-terrain tires, more ground clearance, recovery hooks, a rear limited-slip differential, and off-road-focused displays, but it gives up some luxury features. It’s the right pick if you’ll actually use the extra capability.
• Luxury: This is the best-value upgrade for many buyers because it adds more premium equipment while also unlocking the hybrid powertrain. It also gets the tow hitch and surround-view monitor, making it a strong middle ground for families who want more content without going all the way to the top trim.
• Ultimate Calligraphy: This is the most luxurious version, with the most advanced safety and convenience content, including the upgraded Highway Driving Assist II system, evasive steering assist, dashcams, and the head-up display. Choose it if you want the most fully loaded Palisade.

The safety package is broad across the range, but some features are reserved for higher trims, so it’s worth comparing equipment carefully before you buy.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Hyundai Palisade?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 263 listings available.

That combination suggests you have enough inventory to compare trims and prices, but not so much supply that you should expect deep discounts everywhere. If you find the right trim with the equipment you want, it’s a reasonable time to buy.

Is the 2026 Hyundai Palisade safe?

The 2026 Hyundai Palisade hadn’t received safety ratings from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or Insurance Institute for Highway Safety at the time of writing.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai equips the Palisade with a comprehensive driver-assistance suite that includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, lane following assist, driver attention monitoring, safe exit assist, and front and rear parking sensors. The XRT Pro adds side parking sensors and reverse automatic braking, while Ultimate Calligraphy adds evasive steering assist.

Highway Driving Assist I is standard on all but Ultimate Calligraphy, which gets Highway Driving Assist II with lane-change assistance. One caveat is that the system did not identify cyclists perfectly in the expert road test, so you should still treat the active safety tech as a backup rather than a substitute for attentive driving.

Should I buy a 2026 Hyundai Palisade or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 27.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It’s a redesigned three-row SUV with more style, more space, and a stronger overall package than before.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It remains a roomy, family-oriented three-row SUV with broad appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the most complete Palisade package, the 2026 is the better choice thanks to its redesign, improved tech, and broader powertrain lineup. If you’re focused on value above all else, the 2025 can still make sense when you find a particularly strong deal.
