New & Used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid for Sale nearSmiths Falls, ON

How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 3.98% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 506 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for you to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The CR-V Hybrid is positioned as a well-rounded compact crossover with a light refresh for 2026, and it adds a new TrailSport trim level. It is meant to be practical and approachable, with easy-to-use technology and strong ride quality rather than flashy features.

The main trade-offs are its underwhelming off-road chops and limited tech features, and it also lacks SiriusXM radio. Even so, 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CR-V Hybrid is described as a practical, easy-to-live-with SUV, and the hybrid powertrain is a major part of its appeal. The 1.5-litre turbocharged engine used in the gas trims is noted as having had oil-dilution issues in earlier CR-Vs, but that problem has since been remedied. The hybrid system itself is presented as smooth and efficient, with nearly seamless handoff between electric and gasoline power.

Honda’s three-year, 60,000-kilometre warranty adds some ownership reassurance, and the model’s straightforward design should help keep day-to-day use simple. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about complexity and more about choosing the right trim for your needs, especially if you want stronger equipment content.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TrailSport Hybrid adds orange badges, grey 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, black door handles, and orange contrast stitching with embroidered headrests, but it is not a serious off-road model. If you want the best value, the Sport Hybrid is the entry point to the hybrid lineup, while the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid add more equipment.
• Powertrain: The hybrid trims use a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors for 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid system replaces a traditional transmission, offers multiple regenerative braking settings, and includes a one-pedal driving option.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard on every model and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.
• Infotainment: All 2026 CR-Vs get a standard nine-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay. The Touring Hybrid adds Google built-in, and the TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid also get a 10.2-inch digital driver information display.
• Fuel efficiency: Most hybrid models are rated at 6.4 L/100 km combined, while the TrailSport Hybrid is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Sport Hybrid: This is the entry point to the hybrid lineup, and it gives you the core CR-V Hybrid experience with the efficient two-motor powertrain and standard all-wheel drive. It makes the most sense if you want the hybrid system without paying for extra equipment you may not need.
• TrailSport Hybrid: Choose this if you want the TrailSport look and the added traction of all-terrain tires, but keep your expectations realistic about off-road ability. It is more about style and light adventure use than true trail capability.
• EX-L Hybrid: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger mix of comfort and convenience, including the added parking sensors and the 10.2-inch digital driver information display. It is the best-value choice for many shoppers who want more equipment without going all the way to the top.
• Touring Hybrid: Pick this if you want the most fully equipped CR-V Hybrid, including Google built-in and the 12-speaker Bose premium audio system. It is the right choice if you want the most tech and premium features in the lineup.

Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options and some room to negotiate if you shop carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 506 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.98% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,827 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $48,866 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,889 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become a bit more favourable for buyers, but it can also mean future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If you buy at the right price now, you may have less downside risk later than someone who paid closer to the high end of the range. The CR-V Hybrid’s broad appeal and strong reputation should help support demand, especially for well-equipped trims.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid safe?

The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid had not been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety or crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at the time of writing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every model and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.

A key caveat is that the rearview camera’s resolution is soft, and the TrailSport does not add any extra cameras for forward or side views when you are navigating a trail.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.98% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim level, while keeping the hybrid powertrain and easy-to-use technology that define the model.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version with the latest trim walk and you value the hybrid’s efficiency, the 2026 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2026’s softer pricing and strong market appeal make it a sensible place to start your search.
