New & Used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid for Sale nearSaint-Jacques, NB

How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid cost?

Prices have softened 6.57% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 537 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid earns a 4.75/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

It stands out as a well-rounded compact crossover with a light refresh for 2026, a new TrailSport trim level, and a hybrid powertrain that improves an already appealing package. You also get a straightforward, easy-to-use technology setup, which makes it a strong fit if you want a practical SUV without a steep learning curve.

The main trade-offs are that it is not the most rugged option in the segment, and the TrailSport name does not turn it into a serious adventure vehicle. The cabin’s tech is also limited, and it does not include SiriusXM radio.

With 30.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 4.75/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CR-V Hybrid’s appeal is built around a proven, practical formula: a comfortable ride, standard all-wheel drive, and a hybrid system that prioritizes efficiency and everyday usability. The expert assessment also points to a capable powertrain and a well-sorted driving experience, which supports confidence for used buyers.

The performance notes also say the earlier oil-dilution issue in Honda’s 1.5-litre turbo-four has since been remedied, which is reassuring for shoppers considering the gas-powered trims alongside the hybrid lineup.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that higher-mileage examples may show the usual wear associated with a busy compact SUV, so a careful inspection of maintenance history and overall condition still matters.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The TrailSport trim adds orange badges, grey 18-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, black door handles, and orange contrast stitching with embroidered headrests, but it is not a true off-road model. The base gas trims are LX and Sport, while the hybrid trims are Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid.
• Powertrain: The gas trims use a 1.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 190 horsepower and 179 pound-feet of torque. The hybrid trims use a 2.0-litre Atkinson-cycle engine with two electric motors for 204 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque, plus a two-motor system that replaces a traditional transmission.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard on every model and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.
• Infotainment: Every 2026 CR-V gets a nine-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto, and wireless Apple CarPlay. The TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid also add a 10.2-inch digital driver information display. Touring Hybrid models get Google built-in.
• Fuel efficiency: The hybrid comes in at 6.4 L/100 km combined on most models, while the TrailSport Hybrid is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: Sport Hybrid, TrailSport Hybrid, EX-L Hybrid, and Touring Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• Sport Hybrid: This is the entry point to the hybrid lineup, and it gives you the core CR-V Hybrid formula at the lowest price. It is the best-value choice if you want the hybrid powertrain without paying for extra equipment you may not need.
• TrailSport Hybrid: Choose this if you want the TrailSport look and the added traction of all-terrain tires, but keep your expectations in check. It is more about style and a bit of extra grip than genuine off-road ability.
• EX-L Hybrid: This is the trim to target if you want a more upscale feel and the added convenience of front and rear parking sensors, plus the 10.2-inch digital driver information display.
• Touring Hybrid: This is the most fully equipped version, with Google built-in, a Bose 12-speaker audio system, and the most premium feature set in the range.

Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 537 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,302 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $48,302 CAD sits slightly below last year's $51,697 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. A model that is priced below its recent average can still hold appeal, but resale strength will depend on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained.

The CR-V Hybrid’s broad appeal as a practical, efficient compact SUV should help support demand over time. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.75/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid safe?

The 2026 Honda CR-V had not been evaluated by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), nor had it been crash-tested by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), at the time of writing.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every model and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert. Front and rear parking sensors are standard only on the EX-L Hybrid and Touring Hybrid trims.

One caveat is that the TrailSport does not add extra cameras, so you do not get a forward view or side-view angles for trail use. The rearview camera also has soft resolution, even though it includes dynamic directional guidelines.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 30.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.75/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 model adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim level.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the CR-V Hybrid with the refreshed look, updated tech, and the latest trim walk, the 2026 is the one to target. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2026 gives you the newest packaging and the strongest reason to shop this generation now.
