New & Used 2026 Genesis GV70 for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

How much does the 2026 Genesis GV70 cost?

Prices have softened 6.27% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 136 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Genesis GV70 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8.17/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Technology, and Safety.

The GV70’s appeal starts with its stylish design, standard all-wheel drive, and updated technology package, which gives the cabin a more modern feel. It is especially compelling if you want a compact luxury SUV that feels distinctive and well equipped rather than generic.

The main trade-offs are a poor ergonomic design and no hybrid option, so you may need to accept some usability compromises if you want the GV70’s style and equipment.

With 22.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, there is a meaningful share of attractive inventory in the market.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The GV70’s reliability case is helped by its strong overall reputation, standard all-wheel drive, and the fact that Genesis has comprehensively upgraded the software behind its technology and safety systems for 2026. The performance hardware is also straightforward, with a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder or an available 3.5-litre turbocharged V6, both paired with an eight-speed automatic.

Genesis also includes five years of scheduled maintenance with concierge service, map updates, and more, which can reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with lots of technology can be more expensive to keep satisfying if you are sensitive to interface quirks or want the simplest possible ownership experience.

• Powertrain: The base model uses a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, while the 3.5T Sport uses a 3.5-litre turbocharged V6 with 375 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.
• Safety package: The GV70 includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, and parking collision avoidance assist features. Which 2026 Genesis GV70 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Genesis GV70 is offered in 4 trim levels: Advanced, Advanced with Tech Package, Prestige, and 3.5T Sport.

Here's the short version:

• Advanced: This is the entry point and gives you the core GV70 formula: stylish design, standard all-wheel drive, the 27-inch OLED display, and the full suite of driver-assistance features. It makes the most sense if you want the GV70’s look and technology without stretching the budget.
• Advanced with Tech Package: This is the best-value choice if you want the biggest jump in everyday comfort and convenience. It adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, real leather upholstery, larger wheels, and a long list of tech updates.
• Prestige: This trim is for you if you want the most luxurious 2.5T experience. It adds an excellent Bang & Olufsen audio system, Nappa leather seating surfaces, a 16-way ergo driver’s seat, heated rear seats, and more.
• 3.5T Sport: Choose this if you want the stronger twin-turbo V6 and the sportier appearance and character that come with it. It is the performance-oriented pick in the lineup.

The safety package is broad across the lineup, so the main trim decision comes down to how much comfort, tech, and power you want.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Genesis GV70?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 22.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 136 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.27% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $63,481 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Genesis GV70's resale value?

The current average of $63,481 CAD sits slightly below last year's $67,729 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the GV70 is currently more buyer-friendly than it was a year ago, which can make it easier for future sellers to attract attention if they price competitively. If you buy well now, you may also have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure compared with a period of stronger pricing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2026 Genesis GV70 safe?

The 2026 GV70 has not yet been crash tested, but the 2025 Genesis GV70 was rated Top Safety Pick+ by the IIHS, and past versions have earned five-star ratings from the NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

The GV70 comes with a comprehensive safety suite that includes forward collision avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, driver attention warning, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit assist, rear occupant alert, forward attention warning, and parking collision avoidance assist features. Genesis Highway Driving Assist II also adds hands-on-wheel detection through capacitive sensors.

One caveat is that the refreshed model has not yet been formally tested, so the strongest evidence still comes from the previous GV70’s results and the carryover nature of the safety hardware.

Should I buy a 2026 Genesis GV70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 22.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.27% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2026 model’s biggest update is the wide 27-inch OLED display and the comprehensively upgraded software behind its technology and safety systems.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest GV70 with the most modern cabin presentation and updated tech, the 2026 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting into a GV70 at the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, especially if you find a cleaner deal on a similarly equipped trim.
