Used 2026 Dodge Charger for Sale nearKelowna, BC

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Charger earns an 7.2/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

It doesn’t have a V8, but the 2026 Dodge Charger does have 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque from a turbocharged SIXPACK High Output inline-six engine. All-wheel drive is also standard, and additional drive modes mean smoky burnouts, drifting and donuts remain Charger specialties. It’s offered in two- and four-door styles, and there’s plenty of interior room for adult passengers, making it a uniquely powerful and potentially practical American muscle car for the right buyer.

The main trade-offs are poor visibility, large exterior dimensions, and interior materials feel cheap. That means you’re getting serious performance and presence, but you’ll need to live with some day-to-day compromises.

15.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger reliable?

The 2026 Dodge Charger’s expert rating is 7.2/10, with a 6/10 safety score and strong performance credentials that suggest it’s built to deliver excitement first and foremost.

The turbocharged engine feels strong throughout its rev range with more than 90% of its peak torque delivered between 3,000 rpm and 6,000 rpm. Standard all-wheel drive helps the Charger launch hard off the line, and the standard Brembo brakes with six-piston calipers up front deliver strong and consistent braking performance under normal roadway use.

For long-term ownership, you should expect a high-performance car with substantial running costs and the usual wear risks that come with big power, wide tyres, and enthusiastic driving.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Charger?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Charger’s two- and four-door body styles give you a choice between a more dramatic coupe shape and a more practical sedan layout. The interior is spacious and modern, but the cabin materials are described as cheap, so you should pay attention to finish quality and whether the features you want are present on the trim you’re considering.
• Powertrain: You can get the Charger with electric motors or gasoline engines, and the gas-powered Scat Pack uses a turbocharged inline-six with 550 hp. The gas models also use an eight-speed automatic transmission, standard all-wheel drive, and drive modes that change the car’s behaviour.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist is standard, and it can manage acceleration and braking while helping keep the car centred in its lane. Standard equipment also includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with vulnerable road user detection, active lane management, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, and drowsy driver detection.
• Infotainment: The Charger uses Uconnect 5 with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is standard, while Plus models get a larger 16-inch display, wireless charging, and built-in navigation. A head-up display is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada estimates for the Scat Pack are 14.5 L/100 km in the city, 10.0 L/100 km on the highway, and 12.5 L/100 km combined.

Which 2026 Dodge Charger trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the entry point if you want the Charger’s standard all-wheel drive and the most affordable path into the lineup. It still gives you the Charger’s core muscle-car character, but you’re stepping up to the Scat Pack if you want the full 550-hp experience and the most aggressive performance hardware.
• Scat Pack: This is the one to buy if you want the best-value version of the Charger’s personality. It brings the 550-hp turbocharged engine, standard all-wheel drive, Brembo brakes, Launch Control, Line Lock, rear-wheel-drive mode, and the performance-focused drive modes that make the car feel special. It’s the trim that best matches the Charger’s mission.

The standard safety package includes Active Driving Assist and a broad set of driver-assistance features, while the Scat Pack Plus package adds a 360-degree camera and extra parking views.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Dodge Charger?

This looks like a moderate, selective-buyer market, so it makes sense to shop carefully and compare listings before you commit.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger safe?

The 2026 Dodge Charger has not yet been tested for crashworthiness by either NHTSA or IIHS.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

The Charger comes standard with Active Driving Assist, which can manage acceleration and braking and help keep the car centred in its lane. Other standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking with vulnerable road user detection, active lane management, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, blind spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, traffic sign recognition, and drowsy driver detection.

The Scat Pack Plus package replaces the standard backup camera with a 360-degree camera and additional views to make parking easier. That extra help is especially useful because the Charger’s large exterior dimensions can make parking more demanding.

Should I buy a 2026 Dodge Charger or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

• 15.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• The 2026 Charger stands out as a uniquely powerful and potentially practical American muscle car, with 550 horsepower, standard all-wheel drive, and two- and four-door body styles.

The bottom line: If you want the Charger’s modern muscle-car formula at its most compelling, the 2026 is the year to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, you should still shop carefully and compare listings, because the market is selective rather than broadly discounted.
