That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point. A lower entry price today can also make depreciation feel less steep if you keep the vehicle for several years.

Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.99% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,634 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,640 CAD average.
• It adds a significant refresh with more standard features.

The 2025 makes sense if you want to shop a market where prices have already eased and you can still find some attractive deals. If your priority is saving money up front, the 2024 is the better value path because it costs less while still delivering the refreshed two-row Atlas Cross Sport formula.
