Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.51% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,078 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,339 CAD average.
• It adds a major refresh with more standard features and a stronger turbo four.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It feels more premium inside and offers a more distinctive design.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better all-around pick if you want current-market pricing, decent deal availability, and a model year that still sits in a favourable value window. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it undercuts the 2025 average while still bringing meaningful updates.
