Is the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport a good car?

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 203 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $45,580 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport's resale value?

The current average of $45,580 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,737 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible in the used market, which can help you buy at a lower entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend more heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.06% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,409 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $45,580 CAD average.
• The 2024 adds a major refresh with more standard features and updated styling.

The bottom line: If you want the newer market position and are willing to shop selectively, the 2025 is the stronger default choice. If your priority is lower upfront cost, the 2024 is the better value path and still brings the refresh benefits that matter most.
