Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Toyota RAV4 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 5.82% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $37,025 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $40,691 CAD average.
• It remains practical, dependable, and well suited to long-term usefulness.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a redesigned body, standard hybrid power, and more modern technology.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want a broad mix of practicality, equipment, and choice without stepping into the next redesign. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2024 is the smarter value play. If you want the newest tech and standard hybrid efficiency, the 2026 is the better direction.
