Used 2025 Nissan Kicks for Sale near Newfoundland and Labrador

How much does the 2025 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 21.35% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,528 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks looks like a strong value play if you want a small crossover that feels more polished than its price suggests, with a user rating of 2/5 and an expert rating of 7.2/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a fully redesigned subcompact crossover with a stylish design, fuel-efficient operation, and more upscale features and finishes than before. It is aimed at young and first-time shoppers, and it also brings available all-wheel drive, which broadens its appeal if you want extra confidence in poor weather.

The trade-offs are worth weighing: the base engine is underwhelming, and there is no power seat adjustment. Uncomfortable wind buffeting is another drawback to keep in mind.

With 29.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is presented as a much better vehicle than before, with a more refined driving experience and improved cabin quietness. The new powertrain is managed well, and the CVT maintains good fuel economy without being miserable about it.

The performance side also points to a more settled, balanced feel, with minimal body roll and better noise control than the outgoing generation. That said, the engine is still modest, and the Kicks can be slow to accelerate at times, especially when passing at high elevations.

For long-term ownership, the main used-buyer risk is that you are still buying a small crossover built around value, so you should pay close attention to how the drivetrain feels in everyday driving and whether the vehicle has been used in conditions that expose its weaker acceleration.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base S gives you the essentials, including LED exterior lighting and heated front seats, but it still uses manually adjustable seats and a simpler cabin setup. Higher trims add more upscale touches, and the mid and top trims are where you get the bolder two-tone colour combinations.
• Powertrain: Every version uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a CVT, rated at 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. AWD is optional on the S and SV grades and standard on the top three trims, and it adds torque vectoring plus a Snow mode on AWD versions.
• Safety package: Safety Shield 360 is standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The base S gets a four-speaker stereo and two USB-C ports, the SV adds a wireless charging pad and two extra speakers, and the SR brings twin 12.3-inch screens plus a Bose system with 10 speakers.
• Fuel efficiency: With FWD, the Kicks is rated at 8.1 L/100 km in the city, 6.6 on the highway, and 7.4 combined. With AWD, those figures rise to 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Kicks trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SV Premium, SR, and SR Premium.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the redesigned Kicks experience with the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, heated front seats, and Safety Shield 360. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the new model, but it is the least equipped.
• SV: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a wireless charging pad and extra speakers while keeping the price below the more premium grades. If you want a nicer daily driver without stretching too far, this is the one to focus on.
• SV Premium: This is the sweet spot if you want AWD as standard and a more upscale feel without jumping all the way to the top trims. It is the configuration Nissan expects to be the best-selling one.
• SR: This trim adds the twin 12.3-inch display setup, wireless connectivity and charging, rear USB-C ports, and the Bose audio system with headrest speakers. It also gets ProPilot Assist and the 360-degree monitor system, so it is the most tech-forward choice.
• SR Premium: This is the most fully equipped version, and it is the one to choose if you want the richest feature set and do not mind paying for it.

ProPilot Assist begins with the SR trim, while the 360-degree monitor system also starts at SR.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,528 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.35% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,703 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $24,703 CAD sits slightly below last year's $31,407 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit what a future seller can recover. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of overpaying in a market that has already moved down. For resale, the key is to keep the vehicle in strong condition and avoid paying too close to the top of the range.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks safe?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks receives a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Safety Shield 360 comes standard and includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the SR trim and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.

A 360-degree monitor system is also available and becomes standard beginning at the SR trim. It is a useful feature if you want extra visibility in tight parking situations.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 29.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.35% compared with last year.
• The redesigned model’s stronger value, available AWD, and more upscale features matter to you.

The bottom line: If you want the most polished Kicks experience, the 2025 is the one to target because it brings the redesign, better power, and a much richer feature set. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2025 is the better pick if you want the newer package and can find a well-priced example.
