Used 2025 Nissan Kicks for Sale nearSt. John's, NL

How much does the 2025 Nissan Kicks cost?

Prices have softened 19.81% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,575 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks a good car?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks looks like a strong value-focused choice if you want a small crossover with more polish than a bare-bones budget runabout. It earns 2/5 from users and 7.2/10 from experts.

The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

It stands out as a fully redesigned subcompact crossover with accessible pricing, stylish design, fuel efficiency, and a more premium feel than its price suggests. The trade-offs are clear: the base engine is underwhelming, there is no power seat adjustment, and wind buffeting can be uncomfortable.

That balance makes the Kicks especially appealing if you want practical transportation with a premium edge rather than a sporty driving experience. With 34.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market still offers some attractive opportunities.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks reliable?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is presented as a practical, easygoing small crossover with improved refinement over the previous generation. The new powertrain is described as a vast improvement over the outgoing setup, and the CVT is said to maintain good fuel economy without being miserable about it.

The body is stuffed with insulation to reduce road and wind noise intrusion, which should help the vehicle feel more comfortable in daily use. Nissan also positions the Kicks as a strong value play with a premium edge, which can matter if you want a vehicle that feels more polished than its price suggests.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Kicks still relies on modest performance hardware, so you should pay close attention to how the transmission and drivetrain feel during a test drive.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Kicks is available in a total of eight colours across the range, and two of the bolder colours are limited to the two-tone configuration on the mid and top trims. The cabin uses a mix of textures, with some hard plastics in lower-touch areas, while the seats are comfortable Zero Gravity units with standard cloth or optional synthetic leather upholstery. Heated front seats are standard in Canada, but the seats are only manually adjustable.
• Powertrain: Every new Kicks uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine paired with an all-new CVT, rated at 141 horsepower and 140 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive is available, and the AWD system uses torque vectoring aided by braking. Fuel consumption is rated at 8.1 L/100 km city, 6.6 highway, and 7.4 combined with FWD, or 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined with AWD.
• Safety package: The standard Safety Shield 360 package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the Kicks SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors. The surround-view monitor comes standard beginning at the SR trim.
• Infotainment: The standard infotainment system uses a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The base S model gets a four-speaker stereo and two USB-C ports, the SV adds a wireless charging pad and two extra speakers, and the SR gets twin 12.3-inch screens, wireless connectivity and charging, plus two rear USB-C ports.
• Fuel efficiency: With FWD, the Kicks is rated at 8.1 L/100 km in the city, 6.6 on the highway, and 7.4 combined. With AWD, those figures rise to 8.4 L/100 km city, 6.9 highway, and 7.7 combined.

Which 2025 Nissan Kicks trim should I buy?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks is offered in 5 trim levels: S, SV, SV Premium, SR, SR Premium.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the redesigned Kicks experience at the lowest price. It comes with the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the core Safety Shield 360 package, so it covers the essentials well if you want value first.
• SV: This is the best-value trim if you want a better-equipped daily driver without jumping too far up the price ladder. It adds a wireless charging pad and extra speakers, and it keeps the Kicks feeling modern without pushing into luxury territory.
• SV Premium: This is the sweet spot for many shoppers because it adds AWD as standard and brings a more complete feature set while staying below the top trims. If you want the strongest mix of traction, equipment, and value, this is the one to focus on.
• SR: This trim adds the twin 12.3-inch screen setup, wireless charging, rear USB-C ports, ProPilot Assist, and the surround-view monitor. It is also available by dealer order only, so it suits you best if you want the most advanced tech and are willing to shop a bit harder.
• SR Premium: This is the most fully equipped version, with the Bose audio system and headrest speakers, plus the premium tech touches that make the cabin feel the most upscale. Choose it if you want the richest feature set and do not mind paying for it.

The safety package starts with Safety Shield 360, while ProPilot Assist and the surround-view monitor begin at the SR trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Nissan Kicks?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some confidence if you know which trim and price point you want.

• Deal availability: 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,575 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,561 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Nissan Kicks's resale value?

The current average of $24,561 CAD sits slightly below last year's $30,628 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale values to reflect the model’s current market reset rather than the higher prices seen a year ago.

If demand stays steady, the Kicks should remain relatively easy to move because it offers strong value, but the current trend shows that buyers have more leverage than sellers right now.

Is the 2025 Nissan Kicks safe?

The 2025 Nissan Kicks receives a Top Safety Pick rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Safety Shield 360 package includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic emergency braking, and automatic high beams. ProPilot Assist begins with the Kicks SR and adds predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot intervention, lane-departure prevention, emergency lane-keep assist, intersection assist, traffic-sign recognition, and front parking sensors.

The surround-view monitor is another useful safety and parking aid, and it becomes standard beginning at the SR trim. The main caveat is that the most advanced driver-assistance features are not included on every trim, so you should check carefully if you want the fullest safety tech package.

Should I buy a 2025 Nissan Kicks or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.81% compared with last year.
• The fully redesigned model, stronger value proposition, and available AWD matter to you.

The bottom line: If you want the most modern Kicks, the 2025 is the one to target because it brings the redesign, better refinement, and more premium features. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may be worth considering, but the 2025 is the better pick if you want the most complete version of the nameplate.
