Used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearKirkland Lake, ON

How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 20.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 436 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It gets a refresh for 2025 with new technology, a new sound system, and improved suspension tuning, which helps it feel more polished and comfortable. The cabin is described as quiet and comfortable, and the upgraded audio system is a real highlight. The trade-offs are clear, though: the design may not suit everyone, the front fascia can be polarising, the third row is cramped, and performance is sluggish.

There are 31.9% of listings priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is presented as a comfortable, quiet crossover with a long warranty and a standard all-wheel-drive system, which helps support confidence for everyday use. Its 10-year/160,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty is a standout ownership perk, and the vehicle’s refreshed suspension tuning and added sound insulation point to a more settled driving experience.

The performance side is less reassuring for long-term satisfaction: the 2.5-litre engine is described as underpowered, and the CVT can feel strained when you ask for more acceleration. For used buyers, that means the bigger ownership risk is not outright durability so much as living with a powertrain that may feel increasingly frustrating over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gets a limited set of driver-assistance features, while higher trims add more convenience and safety equipment. The top GT Premium trim stands out for quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, and the premium Yamaha audio setup.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard S-AWC all-wheel drive. The setup is smooth enough for commuting, but it is not quick and can feel sluggish when merging or passing.
• Safety package: The standard safety suite includes blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.
• Infotainment: Every Outlander gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Upper trims add a large digital gauge cluster, and the GT Premium offers an available rear camera mirror and a head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada gives the Outlander a fuel rating of 8.8 litres per 100 kilometres combined.

Which 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 6 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the entry point, and it gives you the standard S-AWC all-wheel-drive system plus the core safety and infotainment equipment. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the Outlander without chasing luxury extras.
• SE: This is the trim to watch if you want a sensible step up from the base model without going too far up the price ladder. It should appeal to buyers who want a better-balanced mix of equipment and value.
• LE: This is the best-value trim if you want more useful driver assistance, because adaptive cruise control starts here. It is the smart pick for shoppers who want a more relaxed highway experience.
• SEL: This trim moves you further up the range with more comfort and convenience content, making it a better fit if you plan to spend lots of time in the cabin.
• GT: This is where more advanced assistance features begin, including lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability. It is the right choice if you want a more fully equipped Outlander without going all the way to the top.
• GT Premium: This is the most upscale version, with quilted leather seats, soft-touch surfaces, the 12-speaker, 1,650-watt Yamaha system, and available rear camera mirror and head-up display. It is the one to choose if you care most about cabin ambience and audio quality.

The safety package is not fully loaded on the base trim, so if driver assistance matters to you, it is worth moving up from ES.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 436 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,370 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $34,541 CAD sits slightly below last year's $43,210 CAD.

That drop suggests the Outlander has become more affordable in the used market, which can help you as a buyer today. For a future seller, though, it means you should expect softer resale conditions than a year ago unless demand strengthens. If you buy at the right price now, you may reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a four-star rating in rollover from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Mitsubishi does not offer a full suite of advanced driver assistance features as standard on the base trim. You get blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning, while adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade and lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.

The IIHS has given the Outlander a Good rating for its headlights, but it has not rated anything else for this model year. That means you should pay close attention to trim level if you want the most complete safety equipment.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 20.06% compared with last year.
• The refresh matters to you, especially the new tech, upgraded sound system, and improved suspension tuning.

The bottom line: If you want the refreshed cabin, better audio, and a more polished feel, the 2025 is the one to target. If your priority is simply getting the lowest possible price, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 is the better pick if you value the updates and can find one near the low end of the market.
