Used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander for Sale nearSault Ste. Marie, ON

How much does the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 18.78% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 506 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 6.7/10 expert rating.

The model scores 7/10 across Form and function, Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It’s a midsize crossover that has been lightly sharpened for 2025 rather than reinvented, with the biggest changes focused on the cabin, the sound system, and suspension tuning. That lines up well if you value comfort and a quiet cabin, and the stereo is a standout feature. The trade-offs are clear: sluggish performance and a design that may not appeal to everyone. The cramped third row also means you should think carefully about whether you need maximum passenger space.

The market shows 27.5% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is built around a familiar gas powertrain and standard all-wheel drive, and Mitsubishi backs it with a 10-year/160,000-kilometre limited powertrain warranty, which is the longest powertrain warranty available in Canada. That warranty coverage is a meaningful ownership advantage if you plan to keep the vehicle for a long time.

The expert assessment also points to a vehicle that is comfortable, quiet, and improved for 2025, even if it still isn’t the best-driving crossover in the class. The powertrain itself is described as underpowered and the CVT as droning, so the main long-term ownership concern for used buyers is whether you’ll be satisfied living with modest performance over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base trim gives you blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning, but it does not include the fuller driver-assistance setup found higher up the range. The top GT Premium trim adds the most upscale cabin touches, including quilted leather seats and plenty of soft-touch surfaces.
• Powertrain: You’re looking at a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine with 181 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque, paired with a CVT and standard S-AWC all-wheel drive. The setup is tuned more for comfort than speed, and the engine is described as needing more power for easier passing and highway merging.
• Safety package: Mitsubishi’s driver-assistance suite starts with blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.
• Infotainment: Every Outlander gets a 12.3-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get a physical volume knob, a real button for the camera system, USB-C ports, and a wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: Natural Resources Canada gives the Outlander a fuel rating of 8.8 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander is offered in 6 trim levels: ES, SE, LE, SEL, GT, and GT Premium.

Here's the short version:

• ES: This is the trim to start with if you want the lowest entry point and the core Outlander experience, including standard S-AWC all-wheel drive and the basic safety equipment. It makes sense if you’re focused on value and can live without the extra convenience and driver-assistance features higher up.
• SE: This is the trim to consider if you want a step up from the base model without chasing the most expensive versions. It should appeal if you want a more balanced mix of equipment and price.
• LE: This is the best-value trim if you want adaptive cruise control, since that feature starts here. It’s the smart pick for shoppers who want a more relaxed highway drive without moving all the way to the top of the range.
• SEL: This trim is for you if you want a more upscale middle ground before the GT models. It sits in the part of the range where you’re paying for more comfort and convenience without going all the way to the most expensive version.
• GT: This is the trim to target if you want the added safety and convenience features that begin here, including lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability.
• GT Premium: This is the most luxurious version, with quilted leather seats, plenty of soft-touch surfaces, the 12-speaker, 1,650-watt Yamaha audio system, a rear camera mirror, and a head-up display. It’s the one to buy only if you specifically want the top-end equipment and are comfortable paying for it.

The safety package is not fully standard across the range, so you should compare trims carefully if driver-assistance features matter to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 506 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.78% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $34,024 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $34,024 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,891 CAD.

That price drop suggests the Outlander has become more attractive to used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to be more realistic about what the market will bear. If you’re planning to sell later, the current trend points to softer resale conditions than a year ago. For a future seller, that makes trim choice, condition, and mileage especially important if you want to protect value.

Is the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander safe?

The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander earns four-star ratings in rollover and five-star ratings in all other NHTSA tests that are mentioned.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Mitsubishi’s driver-assistance suite starts with blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning and automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, rear emergency braking, and lane departure warning. Adaptive cruise control starts at the LE grade, while lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, front parking sensors, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability start at the GT grade.

There are a couple of caveats to keep in mind. Mitsubishi does not offer a full suite of advanced driver assistance features as standard at the base level, and the IIHS has only given the 2025 model a “Good” rating for its headlights so far. The previous model year also showed weaker front crash prevention results, so safety-minded used buyers should pay close attention to trim level and equipment.

Should I buy a 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 18.78% compared with last year.
• The refresh matters to you, especially the updated cabin tech, upgraded sound system, and improved suspension tuning.

The bottom line: If you want the latest gas Outlander with the refreshed interior and chassis tuning, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2025 gives you the most up-to-date version of this formula.
