Used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearSaskatoon, SK

How much does the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 179 listings available, which suggests you have a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — 5/5 from owners and 7.5/10 from our experts. The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is a compact car that makes a small, affordable package feel genuinely rewarding to drive, while still offering sedan and hatchback body styles, turbocharged or non-turbo powertrains, and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

The main trade-offs are a cramped back seat and poor rear visibility, and the technology is described as outdated. Even so, it remains a strong fit if you want a compact car that feels more polished and engaging than many rivals.

With 31.8% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is presented as a car that has aged gracefully, with quality, refinement, sophistication, safety, and enjoyable driving dynamics running through the lineup. Our experts also describe it as communicative, predictable, trustworthy, and tossable.

The standard 2.5-litre engine is described as smooth, quiet, and refined across its rev range, which supports confidence in everyday use. Mazda Connected Services includes a complimentary two-year subscription in Canada.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about mechanical drama and more about living with its cramped rear seat, poor rear visibility, and dated technology.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: GX, GS, GT, and the hatchback-exclusive Suna Edition are the key trims to compare. The base setup is more basic, while higher trims add more upscale equipment and features; GT and above also gain Amazon Alexa Built-in in Canada.
• Powertrain: The non-turbo 2.5-litre four-cylinder makes 191 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbo version makes 250 hp and 320 lb-ft on premium fuel, or 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on regular fuel.
• Safety package: Mazda’s standard driver-assistance suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. The manual-transmission test car did not include stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is also unavailable.
• Infotainment: Mazda Connect uses an 8.8-inch or 10.25-inch display depending on version. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be used by touch, and GT trim or higher adds wireless connectivity for those platforms.
• Fuel efficiency: The manual transmission is rated at 7.8 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna Edition.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Mazda3’s core style and driving character at the lowest starting point.
• GS: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more equipment while staying below the higher-priced trims.
• GT: This is the trim to target if you want the richer feature set, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Amazon Alexa Built-in in Canada.
• Suna Edition: This hatchback-only top model is the pick if you want the most distinctive, fully loaded version of the range.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the manual-transmission test car did not include stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is unavailable.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 179 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,420 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $28,664 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,937 CAD.

That small decline suggests the market has softened a bit, but not dramatically. For you as a future seller, that points to a model with relatively stable pricing rather than sharp depreciation swings. The Mazda3’s broad appeal, strong safety reputation, and premium feel should help support demand when it’s time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 safe?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a “Top Safety Pick+” rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and five-star ratings in all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash tests, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. Because of the manual transmission in our test car, it did not include stop-and-go capability. Lane centring assist is also unavailable.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds Amazon Alexa Built-in to GT and higher trims in Canada, while the Sport hatchback gets the new Suna Edition.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,624 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $28,664 CAD average.
• It offers a rare mix of body styles, drivetrains, and engines.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a cabin that could easily be mistaken for entry-level luxury fare.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Mazda3’s style, safety, and feature set, the 2025 is the right default choice. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 is worth a look if you want the latest take on the same formula.
