Used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 for Sale nearAmherstburg, ON

How much does the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 cost?

Prices have softened 2.50% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 211 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Safety.

It stands out as a small, affordable, efficient car that feels more polished than many rivals, with stylish design and enjoyable driving dynamics. It is available as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback, so you can choose the body style that fits your needs best.

The trade-offs are clear: the back seat is cramped, the technology experience is outdated, and rear visibility is poor. Even so, the overall package remains appealing if you want a compact car that feels more special than typical mainstream alternatives.

With 34.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful value to be found.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Mazda MAZDA3 is presented as a refined, safety-focused compact car that has aged gracefully despite its 2019 redesign. Its standard 2.5-litre engine is described as smooth, quiet, and refined, and the car’s overall character is communicative, predictable, trustworthy, and tossable.

Mazda also includes a complimentary two-year subscription to Mazda Connected Services in Canada, which adds some ownership convenience. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the car’s dated technology and older platform may feel less current as you keep it longer.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The GX, GS, GT, and Suna Edition each bring different equipment levels, with the base trim missing some of the more upscale touches and convenience features found higher up the range.
• Powertrain: You can choose between non-turbo and turbocharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder power, and the standard engine is smooth and refined while the turbo adds more punch.
• Safety package: Mazda’s suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. Manual-transmission versions do not get stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is unavailable.
• Infotainment: The display measures 8.8 inches or 10.25 inches depending on version, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are limited to GT trim and higher.
• Fuel efficiency: The manual transmission is rated at 7.8 L/100 km in combined driving.

Which 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 is offered in 4 trim levels: GX, GS, GT, and Suna Edition.

Here's the short version:

• GX: This is the entry point, so it makes sense if you want the Mazda3’s style and driving character at the lowest starting point, but it leaves you with the fewest features.
• GS: This is the best-value choice if you want a more balanced mix of equipment and everyday usability without stretching too far up the range.
• GT: This is the trim to target if you want the strongest blend of features and convenience, including the wireless smartphone connectivity that helps offset the dated infotainment setup.
• Suna Edition: This is the most distinctive choice if you want the hatchback’s top-model positioning and the most upscale presentation in the lineup.

Safety equipment is strong across the range, but manual-transmission versions miss stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is unavailable.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda MAZDA3?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 211 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.50% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $27,403 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3's resale value?

The current average of $27,950 CAD sits slightly below last year's $28,668 CAD.

That softer pricing trend can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may face a more competitive market if values continue to ease. The Mazda3’s strong styling, safety reputation, and enjoyable driving character should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 safe?

The 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 earns a “Top Safety Pick+” rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) and five-star ratings in all National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) crash tests, including rollover resistance.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and driver attention alert. Manual-transmission versions do not include stop-and-go capability, and lane centring assist is unavailable.

One caveat is that the lane departure warning system can issue inaccurate alerts in narrowing lanes, and the adaptive cruise control can react too aggressively in sharper curves.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda MAZDA3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.50% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds Amazon Alexa Built-in to GT and higher trims, plus the new Suna Edition hatchback.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $26,705 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $27,950 CAD average.
• It offers broad configuration flexibility with sedan or hatchback body styles and multiple powertrain choices.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It leans harder into upscale cabin feel and spirited driving character.
• It keeps the Mazda3’s style-first appeal while adding available all-wheel drive.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the latest updates and a still-reasonable used price. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 is worth considering if you want the freshest take on the same formula.
