Used 2025 Mazda CX-90 for Sale near Maple Ridge, NB

How much does the 2025 Mazda CX-90 cost?

Prices have softened 15.85% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 430 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Mazda CX-90 a good car?

The 2025 Mazda CX-90 earns an expert rating of 6.17/10.

The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It stands out in the midsize three-row SUV segment because Mazda offers unusual powertrain choices and a more upscale feel than many family SUVs. The trade-offs are a base engine that feels underwhelming and technology that can be unintuitive.

The market shows 28.4% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Mazda CX-90 reliable?

The 2025 Mazda CX-90 is positioned as a premium-feeling family SUV, and Mazda’s safety and driver-assistance coverage supports that impression. Its powertrain lineup is broad, with a turbocharged inline six and a plug-in hybrid option, and the expert evaluation notes that the CX-90 can be entertaining to drive.

The performance assessment also points to some refinement concerns, especially around drivetrain behaviour when cold, along with noise and impact harshness. Mazda includes two years of complimentary Mazda Connected Services, which is a useful ownership perk.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the CX-90’s complexity and refinement issues may matter more as mileage builds.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Mazda CX-90?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The CX-90’s trims range from GS-L to Signature, and the higher trims bring a more upscale cabin with features such as Nappa leather, polished metallic trim, and a more premium presentation. Base trims are less richly equipped, and the lowest trims use a smaller infotainment screen.
• Powertrain: You can shop standard-output and high-output 3.3 Turbo versions, plus a plug-in hybrid. The turbocharged 3.3-litre inline-six is paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard all-wheel drive, while the plug-in hybrid adds electric-only driving capability.
• Safety package: Mazda’s standard suite includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights. Higher trims add steering assist for blind-spot monitoring, emergency lane-keeping assist, safe exit warning, front cross-traffic alert, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Higher trims get a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported. The native Mazda Connect system is not touch-operated, and the voice recognition system is limited.
• Fuel efficiency: The official Natural Resources Canada rating is 9.3 L/100 km combined for the standard-output engine, 9.5 L/100 km combined for the high-output version, and 9.4 L/100 km combined once the plug-in hybrid battery is depleted.

Which 2025 Mazda CX-90 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Mazda CX-90 is offered in 5 trim levels: GS-L, GS, GT, GT-P, and Signature.

Here's the short version:

• GS-L: This is the entry point if you want the CX-90’s core strengths without stretching too far on price. You still get the standard safety suite and the CX-90’s distinctive powertrain and driving character, but you give up some of the richer cabin finishes and convenience upgrades found higher up.
• GS: This trim is the better-value step if you want a more complete ownership experience without jumping to the pricier luxury-leaning versions. It keeps the CX-90’s premium look and safety focus while moving you closer to the sweet spot for shoppers who want substance over flash.
• GT: This is the trim to target if you want a stronger blend of equipment and value. It adds more of the upscale feel that suits the CX-90’s design, and it is a sensible middle ground for most used buyers.
• GT-P: This is the best choice if you want the high-output 3.3 Turbo, since that engine is standard here. It suits you if you care more about stronger performance and a more polished driving experience than about keeping the purchase price down.
• Signature: This is the most luxurious version, with the richest interior presentation and the most premium-feeling equipment. It makes the most sense if you want the CX-90 to feel as upscale as possible and you are willing to pay for it.

Mazda adds more advanced safety equipment as you move up the trim ladder, including steering assist, emergency lane-keeping assist, safe exit warning, front cross-traffic alert, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Mazda CX-90?

The current market looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 430 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.85% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,600 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Mazda CX-90's resale value?

The current average of $42,616 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,644 CAD.

That price drop suggests the CX-90 is currently a more buyer-friendly used SUV than it was a year ago. If you buy now, you may benefit from softer pricing, but a future seller could face more pressure if the market stays at this level. For you, that means the CX-90’s resale outlook is acceptable, but not especially strong compared with where it was a year ago.

Is the 2025 Mazda CX-90 safe?

The 2025 Mazda CX-90 earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and five-star ratings in all crash tests conducted by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, as well as a four-star rollover resistance rating.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Mazda includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high-beam headlights as standard equipment. Higher trims add steering assist to blind-spot monitoring, emergency lane-keeping assist, safe exit warning, front cross-traffic alert, front parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system.

One caveat is that the gas-only CX-90 models get four-star ratings in frontal-impact testing, so the PHEV’s stronger crash-test result does not fully carry over to every version.

Should I buy a 2025 Mazda CX-90 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.85% compared with last year.
• The 2025 adds unusual powertrain choices, strong safety ratings, and a more upscale feel than many rivals.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,457 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,616 CAD average.
• It offers brilliant handling and a turbocharged straight-six with a PHEV option.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model-year pricing context, the 2025 is the better all-around target because it combines softer prices with standout safety and premium appeal. If your priority is saving money first, the 2024 is the smarter value play, especially if you want the CX-90’s driving character without paying the current-year average.
