Used 2025 MINI Countryman for Sale nearVal-des-Sources, QC

How much does the 2025 MINI Countryman cost?

Prices have softened 15.74% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 135 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman a good car?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns an 6.83/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

It is a distinctive small crossover with expressive styling, BMW engineering and technology, and enough room for rear-seat passengers and cargo. That makes it a fit if you want personality and practicality in an entry-level luxury package. The trade-offs are clear: dissatisfying steering and poor ride quality, plus unintuitive technology. Even so, the market still shows 31.9% of listings as good or great deals, which helps its value case.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman reliable?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is presented as a well-equipped, redesigned SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a broad safety feature set, but it also has a rough-around-the-edges driving character.

Its powertrain is described as lively and fun, yet the dual-clutch transmission can feel clunky and the stop/start behaviour can make low-speed driving less smooth. The cost-effectiveness commentary also makes clear that you need to value the MINI experience itself to feel good about the purchase.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is less about outright mechanical drama and more about whether you can live with its quirks, refinement compromises, and premium pricing.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Countryman S is the popular choice, the John Cooper Works All4 offers the most power and performance, and the SE All4 is the electric model with an estimated 341 kilometres of range. The Favoured style and 20-inch wheels on the test vehicle added a bolder look, while the interior materials and ambient lighting helped the cabin feel more upscale. The base setup is less richly equipped than higher-spec versions, so check whether the features you want are included.
• Powertrain: The Countryman S uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive. It is quick and nimble, but the transmission can be clunky and the overall powertrain lacks refinement.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and Mini Assist eCall with an SOS button and automatic collision notification. Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability is available in the Driving Assistant Professional upgrade in the Premier+ package, and that package also adds lane-centring assist.
• Infotainment: The Countryman uses a round 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen. It includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, cloud-based navigation with augmented video, and over-the-air connected services through Mini’s app ecosystem.
• Fuel efficiency: The official estimate is 8.7 litres per 100 kilometres in combined driving, and the test vehicle returned 9.6 L/100 km.

Which 2025 MINI Countryman trim should I buy?

The 2025 MINI Countryman is offered in 3 trim levels: S All4, John Cooper Works All4, and SE All4.

Here's the short version:

• S All4: This is the popular choice and the best fit if you want the core Countryman experience with the broadest balance of style, performance, and everyday usability. It delivers the playful driving character and standard all-wheel drive without pushing you into the highest-priced versions.
• John Cooper Works All4: Choose this if you want the most power and performance. It is the enthusiast pick, and the content makes clear it is the most aggressive version in the lineup.
• SE All4: Pick this if you want the electric model and its estimated 341-kilometre range. It is the alternative for shoppers who want to go electric while keeping the Countryman’s styling and size.

The Premier+ package is where the available Driving Assistant Professional upgrade appears, so that is the safety-package trim note to watch for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 MINI Countryman?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 135 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.74% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,499 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 MINI Countryman's resale value?

The current average of $42,597 CAD sits slightly below last year's $50,556 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can help you negotiate now. For a future seller, it also means you should expect depreciation pressure if you buy at the current average and later try to resell into a softer market.

Because the Countryman is a niche, personality-driven model, resale will likely depend heavily on trim, condition, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should hold up better than plain-spec versions.

Is the 2025 MINI Countryman safe?

The 2025 MINI Countryman earns a Top Safety Pick rating from the IIHS.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring with active steering input to avoid a collision, automatic high-beam headlights, front and rear parking sensors, and Mini Assist eCall with an SOS button and automatic collision notification.

Adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability is available as part of the Driving Assistant Professional upgrade in the Premier+ package, and that upgrade also adds lane-centring assist. One caveat is that the system can be overly insistent about steering input, even when your hands are already on the wheel.

Should I buy a 2025 MINI Countryman or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 15.74% compared with last year.
• Redesigned styling, stronger packaging, and a more distinctive personality make this year the more compelling choice.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $36,717 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,597 CAD average.
• It offers a familiar, playful MINI formula with a well-known package.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the redesigned Countryman’s extra space, updated tech, and stronger overall appeal. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play, especially if you can live with the older-generation package.
