Used 2025 Kia Telluride for Sale nearSudbury, ON

How much does the 2025 Kia Telluride cost?

Prices have softened 9.31% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 129 listings available, which suggests a decent amount of inventory for shoppers.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Kia Telluride earns 4/5 from users and 8.2/10 from our experts. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It stands out as a stylish, comfortable three-row SUV that still feels highly relevant, especially if you want a midsize family vehicle with room for people and luggage. The expert score also reflects strong marks for look and feel, performance, cost effectiveness, and safety, even though technology trails those strengths.

The main trade-offs are outdated technology and an irritating lane-assist system, plus sticky brakes in thick traffic. If you value comfort, capability, and a polished overall package more than the latest tech, it fits that use case well.

32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which is a healthy sign of market availability.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Telluride is presented as a well-rounded SUV with strong safety ratings, a refined V6, and a comfortable ride, all of which support confidence in day-to-day ownership. Its five-year/100,000-kilometre new vehicle warranty and five-year/unlimited-kilometre roadside assistance also help reduce early ownership worry.

Its powertrain is described as smooth, refined, and amply powered, and the road-trip testing suggests it can handle long-distance use with ease. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is more about ageing technology and driver-assist annoyance than core mechanical durability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base EX is the least expensive entry point, but it misses some of the richer screen and display hardware found higher up. The X-Line adds increased ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, a self-levelling rear suspension, blacked-out styling, and exclusive wheel designs, while the X-Pro adds 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires and higher towing capacity. If you want the most complete equipment and off-pavement capability, the X-Pro is the most fully equipped choice.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Telluride uses a 3.8-litre V6 with 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic and standard AWD. It is smooth and refined, and it returned a respectable 11.6 L/100 km in testing, close to the official 11.7 L/100 km combined figure.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Higher trims add lane-change assist, and most trims also get Blind Spot View Monitor, reverse automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, oncoming collision avoidance, and lane-change collision avoidance.
• Infotainment: In all Canadian trims but the base EX, you get a 12.3-inch digital driver display beside a 12.3-inch touchscreen under one piece of glass. A 10-inch head-up display is available on SX Prestige, X-Line, and X-Pro. The system does not offer wireless Apple CarPlay or wireless Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The road-trip result was 11.6 L/100 km, and the official combined figure is 11.7 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Kia Telluride trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia Telluride is offered in 5 trim levels: EX, SX, SX Limited, X-Line, and X-Pro.

Here's the short version:

• EX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Telluride formula at the lowest price. It makes sense if you want the core space, comfort, and standard AWD without paying for the more elaborate display and convenience upgrades.
• SX: This is the best-value trim if you want a richer feature set without jumping all the way to the top. It adds more of the upscale feel that suits the Telluride’s family-hauling mission.
• SX Limited: Choose this if you want the most luxurious cabin presentation and the most premium-feeling equipment in the lineup.
• X-Line: This is the better pick if you want the added ground clearance, improved approach and departure angles, and the more rugged look without going all the way to the X-Pro.
• X-Pro: This is the most capability-focused version, with all-terrain tires and the highest towing capacity. It suits you best if you expect to spend meaningful time off pavement.

Higher trims also bring more of the advanced safety and driver-assistance hardware, including lane-change assist on upper versions.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Kia Telluride?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare options carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 129 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $51,741 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Kia Telluride's resale value?

The current average of $53,522 CAD sits slightly below last year's $59,016 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the market absorbs current inventory. If prices stabilise, owners who buy near the lower end of the range may have a better chance of limiting depreciation.

The Telluride’s strong reputation, broad family appeal, and solid satisfaction rating should help support demand over time. Even so, resale value will be strongest if you avoid overpaying relative to the current market.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Kia Telluride safe?

The 2025 Kia Telluride earns a five-star overall rating in crash tests performed by the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and it earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS).

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety equipment includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, intersection assistance when turning left across traffic, automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, rear occupant alert, safe exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Higher trims add lane-change assist, and most trims also get Blind Spot View Monitor, reverse automatic braking, front cross-traffic alert with automatic braking, oncoming collision avoidance, and lane-change collision avoidance.

The lane-centring system was the main annoyance in testing, especially on curves, so that is worth checking during a test drive if you plan to use the driver-assist features often.

Should I buy a 2025 Kia Telluride or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.31% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 stands out for its long-road-trip comfort and strong safety ratings.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $46,148 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $53,522 CAD average.
• It is stylish, safe, roomy, and rugged.

The bottom line: If you want the newer-year market context and are comfortable paying more for the current model year, the 2025 is the better all-around pick. If your priority is value and you want a lower entry price, the 2024 is the smarter budget-focused alternative.

How does the 2025 Kia Telluride compare to the 2025 Hyundai Palisade?
