Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe for Sale nearPrince George, BC

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe cost?

Prices have softened 13.23% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 123 listings available, which gives you a decent amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe stands out most clearly as a lifestyle SUV with a strong identity, especially in Willys ’41 Special Edition form. It is described as fun to drive and easy to use technologically, and the plug-in hybrid powertrain adds useful electric-only capability for short local trips.

The trade-offs are just as clear: it is noisy, the interior materials feel cheap, and advanced safety features are not standard. That means you should value character, off-road presence, and plug-in flexibility more than refinement if you’re considering one.

Only 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so you may need to shop selectively to find the best value.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe is built around a rugged, purpose-driven formula rather than polished commuting comfort. Its plug-in hybrid setup adds complexity, but the model’s appeal is reinforced by its strong identity and the fact that it is designed to handle dirt, grit, and moisture without fuss.

The performance content suggests the powertrain can be efficient if you recharge regularly and use it for short trips, while the cost-effectiveness content notes that the plug-in setup only makes financial sense if you actually plug it in often. If you skip charging, long-term ownership can become less economical than you might expect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys ’41 Special Edition adds exclusive ’41 paint, 17-inch aluminium wheels styled like steelies, a tan soft-top roof, steel front and rear bumpers, 33-inch all-terrain tyres, Heritage Tan cloth seats, and an Olive Drab cloth dashboard insert. It is the most distinctive version, while the cabin otherwise remains standard Wrangler with hard plastic surfaces and a raw, unrefined feel.
• Powertrain: The plug-in hybrid setup uses a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. It is rated for an estimated 35 km of electric-only driving range, and it can return 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving once the battery is depleted.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but it requires the Convenience Group as well.
• Infotainment: Every Wrangler 4xe comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen using Uconnect 5, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation is not offered on the Willys ’41, and a wireless charger is not available.
• Fuel efficiency: Jeep says the Wrangler 4xe can average 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving when the battery is depleted. The plug-in setup makes the most sense if you recharge regularly and use it for short local trips.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the 4xe powertrain at the lowest price, but you should expect the least equipment of the group. It makes sense if you care most about getting into the plug-in hybrid Wrangler experience.
• Willys: This is the best-value choice for many buyers because it adds the Willys-themed appearance and off-road-oriented hardware without jumping all the way to the pricier trims. If you want the most character for the money, this is the one to focus on.
• Sahara: Choose this if you want a more upscale-feeling Wrangler 4xe than the lower trims, while still staying away from the most extreme off-road versions.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to target if off-road capability matters most to you. It is the more serious trail-focused choice in the lineup.
• Rubicon X: Pick this if you want the most equipped and most expensive version in the range, and you are willing to pay for the top end of the lineup.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels, but the optional Active Safety Group requires the Convenience Group as well.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it pays to compare listings carefully and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 123 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.23% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,814 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's resale value?

The current average of $60,814 CAD sits slightly below last year's $70,089 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also means the market has already adjusted downward from where it was a year ago. If you plan to sell later, the current trend suggests you should be realistic about future depreciation rather than expecting a quick rebound.

The Wrangler 4xe’s distinctive identity and plug-in hybrid setup may help it stay appealing to a specific group of buyers. Even so, resale will likely depend heavily on condition, equipment, and whether the vehicle has been used in the way its powertrain is meant to be used.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe safe?

The Wrangler 4xe earns a mediocre three-star rating for rollover resistance from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), and the NHTSA says it provides its driver no better than three-star protection in a frontal impact.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels. If you want more, the optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but Jeep requires the Convenience Group as well before it will add that package.

The safety picture is a weak point for this model year, especially because advanced safety features are not standard and the Wrangler’s rollover resistance is a concern. If safety is a top priority for you, this is an area where you should be especially selective.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.23% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 stands out for its Willys ’41 Special Edition theme, with exclusive styling and a plug-in hybrid powertrain that suits buyers who want character and electrified capability.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory, and the year’s distinctive special-edition appeal, the 2025 is the one to target. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep shopping carefully and compare nearby model years for the best equipped example at the lowest asking price.
