Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe for SaleNationwide

How much does the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe cost?

Prices have softened 14.96% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 120 listings available, which suggests you have some room to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe a good car?

Generally — the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe earns a 4/5 user rating and a 6.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The Wrangler 4xe stands out most clearly as a plug-in hybrid with fun driving manners and easy-to-use technology, while the Willys ’41 Special Edition adds a distinctive heritage look. At the same time, it remains a vehicle that prioritises image and off-road character over everyday polish.

Noisy road manners and cheap-feeling interior materials are the main trade-offs, and advanced safety features are not standard. That means you should expect a rawer experience than you would get from a more comfort-focused SUV.

Only 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market has some attractive options but not an overwhelming amount of them.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Wrangler 4xe is built around a plug-in hybrid powertrain that can work well if you use it the way it was intended: charge it regularly and lean on electric driving for short trips. The expert evaluation also points to a powertrain that can deliver strong performance while still improving efficiency when you plug in often.

Jeep also says the battery can be recharged in 12 hours from a standard household outlet, or in 2.5 hours with a Level 2 home charger. That makes routine charging manageable if you have home charging access.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the efficiency and value proposition depend heavily on regular charging; if you skip that, the 4xe becomes harder to justify.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys ’41 Special Edition adds exclusive ’41 paint, 17-inch aluminium wheels styled like steelies, a tan soft-top roof, steel front and rear bumpers, 33-inch all-terrain tyres, Heritage Tan cloth seats, and an Olive Drab cloth dashboard insert. It is the most distinctive choice if you want the heritage theme, but the cabin still feels like a standard Wrangler inside.
• Powertrain: You get a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder paired with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. The setup is aimed at strong performance and better efficiency when you plug in regularly.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but you need the Convenience Group as well to get it.
• Infotainment: Every Wrangler 4xe comes with a 12.3-inch touchscreen and Uconnect 5. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and over-the-air capability is part of the system’s connected-tech setup.
• Fuel efficiency: Jeep says the Wrangler 4xe can average 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving once the battery is depleted. It also has an estimated 35 km of electric-only range.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

Here's the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the plug-in hybrid Wrangler experience at the lowest price, but you should expect fewer features than the higher trims and the same basic Wrangler roughness.
• Willys: This is the best-value trim for many buyers because it sits in the middle of the lineup and gives you the Wrangler 4xe formula without jumping all the way to the pricier luxury-leaning or off-road-focused versions.
• Sahara: Choose this if you want a more upscale take on the Wrangler 4xe and are willing to pay more for it.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to target if off-road capability matters most to you.
• Rubicon X: This is the most expensive choice and suits you if you want the most fully equipped Wrangler 4xe in the lineup.

The safety package note still matters here: the Active Safety Group is optional, and Jeep requires the Convenience Group before it can be added.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

It is a buyer-friendly moment if you are shopping carefully, because prices have eased and there are enough listings to compare.

• Deal availability: 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 120 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.96% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $61,865 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe's resale value?

The current average of $61,865 CAD sits slightly below last year's $72,752 CAD.

That price drop suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable point in the cycle. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, equipment, and how well the vehicle has been maintained and used.

Because the Wrangler 4xe has a distinct plug-in hybrid appeal and a strong lifestyle identity, well-kept examples should still attract interest. But if the market continues to favour buyers, you may need to price competitively when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe safe?

The Wrangler 4xe earns a three-star rating for rollover resistance from NHTSA, and the NHTSA says it provides three-star protection in a frontal impact.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but Jeep only offers that package if you also buy the Convenience Group.

That safety setup is a weak point for the Wrangler 4xe, especially because advanced safety features are not standard and the rollover result is a concern for a vehicle with this much off-road character.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.96% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 stands out for its Willys ’41 Special Edition styling and plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The bottom line: If you want the Wrangler 4xe’s unique plug-in hybrid setup and the 2025 special-edition styling, this model year makes sense, especially while prices are softer. If you are more price-sensitive, focus on the listings that sit near the low end of the range and prioritise the equipment you actually want, since the safety and convenience packages can materially change the ownership experience.
