Used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe for Sale near Kirkfield, ON

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe a good car?

Generally — you’re looking at a 4/5 user-rated SUV with an expert rating of 6.33/10. The model scores 8/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe is at its best when you want a plug-in hybrid Wrangler that leans into image, heritage, and off-road character. The Willys ’41 Special Edition especially stands out with its distinctive styling, while the broader Wrangler 4xe formula adds a plug-in hybrid powertrain and easy-to-use technology.

The trade-offs are clear: it’s noisy, the interior materials feel cheap, and advanced safety features are not standard. That makes it a better fit if you value personality and capability over everyday polish.

With 36.7% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Wrangler 4xe is built around a plug-in hybrid setup that can work well if you use it the way it’s intended: charge it regularly and lean on electric driving for shorter trips. The performance content also points to a powertrain that can deliver strong output while still offering meaningful electric-only range when you keep the battery topped up.

Jeep’s cost-effectiveness notes suggest the ownership equation improves most when you plug in often, and that the 4xe can make sense for buyers who can take advantage of charging and, where available, rebates. If you skip charging, the long-term value case weakens.

For used buyers, the main ownership risk is paying extra for a PHEV and then not using the electric side enough to justify it.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Willys ’41 Special Edition adds exclusive ’41 paint, 17-inch aluminium wheels styled like steelies, a tan soft-top roof, steel front and rear bumpers, 33-inch all-terrain tyres, Heritage Tan cloth seats, and an Olive Drab cloth dashboard insert. It’s the most distinctive version, but the cabin still feels like a standard Wrangler inside.
• Powertrain: You’re getting a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder paired with two electric motors and a 17.3-kWh battery pack. The setup is designed for plug-in use, with an estimated 35 km of electric-only range and strong combined output when the battery is charged.
• Safety package: Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard. The optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors, but it requires the Convenience Group as well.
• Infotainment: Every Wrangler 4xe gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Uconnect 5, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto. Navigation is not offered on the Willys ’41, so check whether the trim you’re considering has the features you want.
• Fuel efficiency: Jeep says the Wrangler 4xe averages 11.7 L/100 km in combined driving once the battery reaches minimum charge. In testing, it returned 7.6 L/100 km over a short electric-assisted run and 11.7 L/100 km over a longer loop.

Which 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe trim should I buy?

The 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, and Rubicon X.

Here’s the short version:

• Sport S: This is the entry point if you want the plug-in hybrid Wrangler experience at the lowest price. It makes sense if you care most about the 4xe powertrain and standard tech, and less about appearance upgrades.
• Willys: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds the Willys-themed equipment and sits in the middle of the lineup. If you want the special-edition look without jumping to the pricier trims, this is the one to focus on.
• Sahara: Choose this if you want a more upscale step up in the lineup and are willing to pay more for it.
• Rubicon: This is the trim to target if off-road capability is your priority and you want the more serious trail-focused version.
• Rubicon X: Pick this if you want the most expensive, most fully equipped version in the range.

The safety content also makes one thing clear: if safety equipment matters to you, pay close attention to package availability, because blind-spot monitoring and other key features are not standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so it’s worth shopping carefully and comparing listings before you commit.

• Deal availability: 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 128 listings available.

Is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe safe?

The 2025 Wrangler 4xe earns a mediocre three-star rating for rollover resistance from NHTSA, and the IIHS testing performed is unimpressive.

It earns a 3/10 safety score from our experts.

Forward-collision warning and adaptive cruise control are standard on all trim levels. If you want more protection, the optional Active Safety Group adds automatic high-beam headlights, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. Jeep won’t add that package unless you also buy the Convenience Group.

The main caveat is that safety tech is limited for the money, and the Wrangler’s rollover behaviour is a real concern. If safety is a top priority, this is not the strongest choice in the segment.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 stands out for the Willys ’41 Special Edition, with exclusive heritage-inspired styling and the same plug-in hybrid appeal that defines the Wrangler 4xe.

The bottom line: If you want the latest 4xe with the Willys ’41’s distinctive look, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, especially if you can find a better deal on similar equipment.
