Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It blends everyday SUV polish with Jeep’s off-road capability, and in Canada it comes with standard four-wheel drive plus a wide spread of available 4WD systems. The trim range also runs from fairly basic versions to more upscale ones, so you can shop for the balance of comfort, capability, and equipment that fits your needs. With 31.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still some room to find value.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Grand Cherokee’s standard 3.6-litre V6 and eight-speed automatic give you a familiar, proven setup, while the model’s broad trim and drivetrain spread means there are many configurations to choose from. The guide also notes that upkeep costs can be high, so used buyers should pay close attention to service history and overall condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without expecting deep discounts on every listing.

• Deal availability: 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 391 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.00% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,397 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $56,591 CAD sits slightly below last year's $65,044 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more selectively today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, trim, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Models with desirable equipment and strong presentation should be easier to move than higher-mileage examples with deferred maintenance.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a larger touchscreen.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want a proven, well-equipped Grand Cherokee with softer pricing and strong owner satisfaction. If you are more focused on the newest powertrain and updated tech, the 2026 is worth a look, but price-sensitive buyers should keep the 2025 high on the list.
