Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it fits a model that blends everyday SUV polish with Jeep’s off-road capability. In Canada, standard four-wheel drive and a wide spread of available 4WD systems make it appealing if you want a refined SUV that can still handle rougher terrain. The trim range also stretches from fairly basic versions to more upscale ones, so you can shop for the level of equipment you want. With 31.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee is positioned as a versatile, well-equipped SUV, but the guide also notes that upkeep costs can be high. It offers a lot of equipment for the money, yet not every example is equally suited to hard off-road use. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is more about maintenance and how the vehicle was used than about the basic appeal of the platform.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what you want.

• Deal availability: 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 397 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.06% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $56,320 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $56,320 CAD sits slightly below last year's $64,781 CAD.

That price movement suggests the model has become more accessible on the used market, which can help you buy in at a better point. For a future seller, it also means you should expect resale value to depend heavily on condition, equipment, and how well the vehicle has been maintained. Because the Grand Cherokee offers a premium-leaning cabin and serious capability, well-kept examples should still attract interest from shoppers looking for a more refined midsize SUV.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It adds a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a larger touchscreen.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want a well-equipped Grand Cherokee with strong owner satisfaction and better used-market pricing. If you are price-sensitive, the 2025 is the safer buy; if you want the newest powertrain update and refreshed tech, the 2026 is worth a look.
