Used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric for Sale nearPembroke, ON

How much does the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric cost?

Prices have softened 10.13% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 69 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric a good car?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric earns an 8.33/10 expert rating and is positioned as a value-focused electric crossover with fresh styling, a long list of features, and a comfortable, competent driving character.

The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness, Technology, and Safety.

It fits best if you want an EV that leans into affordability and everyday usability rather than outright speed. The cabin is described as airy and well appointed, and the standard feature set is strong for the money.

The main trade-offs are clear: performance is fairly pedestrian, and all-wheel drive is not available. If you can live with that, the package makes a strong case for itself as a practical commuter EV.

Only 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric reliable?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric is presented as a sensible, competent EV with a comfortable ride, a quiet cabin, and a battery setup that supports everyday commuting well.

Its 64.8-kWh battery pack, battery pre-conditioning, and home charging setup make routine ownership straightforward, while the five-year, 100,000-kilometre limited warranty and eight-year, 160,000-kilometre battery and electric-drive warranty add useful coverage for used buyers.

The performance notes also point to a car that is tuned for efficiency and commuting rather than hard driving, which usually suits long-term ownership well if you value simplicity over excitement.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Canadian lineup centres on the Preferred, with Trend, Ultimate, and N Line Ultimate packages available. The base setup gives you the core EV experience, while the higher packages add more comfort and convenience equipment. If you want the most distinctive look, the N Line Ultimate package adds special 19-inch wheels and unique exterior styling.
• Powertrain: You’re looking at a front-wheel-drive EV with a 64.8-kWh battery pack, 201 hp, and 291 lb-ft of torque. It’s tuned for commuting rather than quick launches, and the N Line Ultimate package trades some range for its larger wheels.
• Safety package: Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite includes automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, safe exit warning, a driver attention monitor, and Highway Driving Assist. The Ultimate and N Line Ultimate packages add parking aids such as a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.
• Infotainment: Every Kona Electric gets dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and native navigation that can help plan charging stops. The system is quick and easy to use, and the higher packages add wireless device charging.
• Range & charging: You can expect up to 420 kilometres of driving range, or 370 kilometres with the N Line Ultimate package. DC fast charging takes more than 40 minutes from 10% to 80%, while home charging should take about five to six hours.
• Battery health: As with any used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the car was typically charged, and review the remaining battery warranty coverage. A car that has mostly seen home charging and has been maintained within warranty terms is generally the safer used-EV bet.

Which 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric trim should I buy?

The 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric is offered in 4 trim levels: Preferred, Trend, Ultimate, and N Line Ultimate.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the core Kona Electric experience without paying for extras you may not need. You still get the strong standard safety suite, dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless smartphone integration, and the full EV basics.
• Trend: This is the trim to consider if you want a nicer cabin, since it adds leatherette seating and other comfort upgrades without jumping all the way to the top of the range.
• Ultimate: This is the best fit if you want the most rounded package, with added convenience and parking tech such as wireless device charging, a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor.
• N Line Ultimate: Choose this only if you specifically want the sportier appearance package with unique styling and 19-inch wheels, while accepting the reduced range that comes with it.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while the higher packages add parking and visibility aids.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric?

The market looks moderately favourable for a selective buyer, especially if you’re comparing multiple listings and waiting for the right price.

• Deal availability: 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 69 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $37,078 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric's resale value?

The current average of $37,170 CAD sits slightly below last year's $41,360 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Kona Electric has become more accessible for used buyers, which can help you get more vehicle for your money today. For a future seller, though, it also means you should expect a softer resale environment than last year’s market.

If you buy carefully and keep the car in good condition, the value proposition should remain solid because the Kona Electric still has strong feature content and broad appeal as an affordable EV. The main risk is that EV pricing can move quickly, so a buyer who pays too close to the top of the range may have less room to recover value later.

Is the 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric safe?

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai’s driver-assistance suite is standard and extensive, with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, safe exit warning, a driver attention monitor, and Highway Driving Assist.

If you want the most parking help, the Ultimate and N Line Ultimate packages add a surround-view camera system, parking alerts, Remote Smart Parking Assist, and Blind View Monitor. That means the higher trims are the ones to target if parking visibility and manoeuvring support matter most to you.

Should I buy a 2025 Hyundai Kona Electric or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 27.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.13% compared with last year.
• It gives you the redesigned, value-heavy package with fresh styling, strong standard equipment, and a clear focus on everyday usability.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of features, value, and standard safety, the 2025 is the one to target. If you’re more price-sensitive, it’s worth shopping aggressively for a lower-priced listing, since the market has softened and there are still enough examples to compare.
