Used 2025 Honda Ridgeline for Sale nearPickering, ON

How much does the 2025 Honda Ridgeline cost?

Prices have softened 10.73% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 82 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.83/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

The Ridgeline stands out because it takes a different approach to the midsize pickup formula, using crossover-like unibody construction and clever storage solutions. That makes it especially appealing if you want a pickup that is easier to live with day to day, with a comfortable ride and strong handling that feel more polished than many trucks in the segment.

The trade-offs are clear: it does not offer the towing capacity or off-road capability of more traditional trucks, and its technology is described as outdated. Even so, its blend of pickup utility and everyday usability makes it a strong fit if practicality matters more to you than maximum ruggedness.

28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which points to a reasonably healthy share of attractive offers.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Ridgeline’s reliability case is helped by its straightforward mechanical setup and its reputation for being a good, basic truck. Its V6 and nine-speed automatic are described as an excellent combination, and the truck’s unibody construction contributes to a solid, refined feel that should age well in everyday use.

Honda’s standard warranty coverage is also in line with what you’d expect in the segment, and the Ridgeline’s no-nonsense interior and durable-feeling cabin materials support the sense that it is built for regular use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its limited towing and off-road capability may not match changing needs over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition each bring different equipment levels, with the base trim missing SiriusXM satellite radio and the top trim adding navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, and rear USB-C ports. The TrailSport adds off-road-focused hardware and unique styling, while the Black Edition is the most fully equipped.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Ridgeline uses a 3.5-litre V6 with 280 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic and standard AWD. It is smooth and responsive, but the engine start-stop system can feel slow.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing includes forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The lack of a 360-degree camera system is a notable gap.
• Infotainment: All models get a 9-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging. Navigation is standard on the Black Edition, and the system uses a USB-A data port rather than USB-C.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models are rated at 11.5 L/100 km combined, while TrailSport models are rated at 11.6 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Honda Ridgeline trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline is offered in 3 trim levels: Sport, TrailSport, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it still gives you the Ridgeline’s core strengths: standard AWD, the V6, the 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless charging. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model and do not need the extra convenience features of the higher trims.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim if you want the Ridgeline’s more adventurous look and hardware. It adds all-terrain tires, unique suspension tuning, and a front skid plate, while keeping the truck’s comfortable road manners intact.
• Black Edition: Choose this if you want the most upscale Ridgeline. It adds navigation, an eight-speaker audio system, and rear USB-C ports, making it the most complete trim for buyers who want maximum convenience and equipment.

Honda Sensing is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim for the core safety suite.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Ridgeline?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough price softness to create opportunities.

• Deal availability: 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 82 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $50,864 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline's resale value?

The current average of $51,543 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,740 CAD.

That decline suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price more competitively to stand out. If you buy now, you may benefit from the softer pricing environment, though resale gains are unlikely to be driven by scarcity alone. The Ridgeline’s practical appeal and strong owner satisfaction should help support demand over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Ridgeline safe?

The 2025 Honda Ridgeline earns a five-star overall rating from NHTSA, with five-star ratings in frontal and side crash tests and four-star ratings in rollover testing. It also earned a top “Good” score in the updated side crash test, along with a “Good” score in the original moderate front overlap test and an “Acceptable” score in the small overlap front test.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard Honda Sensing features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and Road Departure Mitigation. The system is generally unobtrusive, but the adaptive cruise control can be slow to accelerate when traffic clears, and the lack of a 360-degree camera system is a missed opportunity.

The main safety caveat is the Marginal headlight rating, which is worth keeping in mind if you often drive at night.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Ridgeline or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 28.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.73% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2024 updates, so you get the latest version of this formula.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,630 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $51,543 CAD average.
• It blends comfort and practicality with useful updates.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Ridgeline and are shopping in a softer market, the 2025 is the cleaner choice. If price matters more than having the current model year, the 2024 is the smarter value play for buyers who still want the Ridgeline’s comfort-first approach.
