Used 2025 Honda Pilot for Sale nearSydney, NS

How much does the 2025 Honda Pilot cost?

Prices have softened 13.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 161 listings available, which suggests you have a decent amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Pilot earns a 4.9/5 user rating and a 6.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 9/10.

Drivers consistently praise the roomy interior, smooth ride, and generous cargo space. They also like the comfortable seating and the reassuring sense of security that comes with the Pilot’s safety reputation.

The trade-offs are familiar: the technology can feel dated, and lower trims may leave you wanting more luxury features. In practical terms, the Pilot fits you best if you want a straightforward three-row SUV that makes daily family use easy rather than flashy.

Only 24.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, so the market has some value opportunities but still rewards careful shopping.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot reliable?

Owners rate it 4.9/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a dependable, trouble-free ownership experience, with drivers especially confident in the Pilot’s long-term usefulness. The expert assessment also supports that impression by describing it as a simple, easy-to-live-with SUV that is built around familiar, proven hardware.

Honda’s warranty coverage is average, so your long-term ownership risk is less about novelty and more about choosing a well-kept example with a clean service history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sport is affordable but light on appealing amenities, while the EX-L is the recommended minimum upgrade if you want a more satisfying cabin. The Black Edition adds blacked-out exterior trim, black wheels, black badges, black leather seats with red perforation accents, red contrast stitching, and red ambient lighting.
• Powertrain: Every Pilot uses a 3.5-litre V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard i-VTM4 AWD in Canada. It makes 285 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, and the TrailSport gets extra ground clearance.
• Safety package: Every version includes Honda Sensing with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. Parking sensors and a multi-view camera system were fitted to the Black Edition test vehicle.
• Infotainment: The Black Edition had a 10.2-inch digital gauge panel and a 9-inch touchscreen, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM, wireless charging, navigation, HondaLink, Wi-Fi access, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is unimpressive, with city driving returning 15.9 L/100 km in testing and 14.1 L/100 km on the evaluation loop. NRCan estimates 11.0 L/100 km combined for lower trims and 11.8 L/100 km for the TrailSport.

Which 2025 Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2025 Honda Pilot is offered in 5 trim levels: Sport, EX-L, TrailSport, Touring, and Black Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Sport: This is the entry point, but it is the least appealing choice if you want a well-equipped family SUV. It makes sense only if you are focused on keeping the purchase price down.
• EX-L: This is the best-value trim because it adds the leather-lined upgrade the review recommends at a minimum, making the Pilot feel more complete for everyday use.
• TrailSport: Choose this if you want the most rugged version of the Pilot, with the added off-roading capability highlighted in the review.
• Touring: This trim moves the Pilot further upmarket and is a better fit if you want more comfort and convenience without going all the way to the Black Edition.
• Black Edition: This is the style-focused top trim, with blacked-out exterior details, red interior accents, and the most distinctive look in the lineup.

Honda Sensing is standard across the range, so safety coverage is strong even before you move up the trim ladder.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Pilot?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and compare listings.

• Deal availability: 24.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 161 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $54,581 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Pilot's resale value?

The current average of $54,581 CAD sits slightly below last year's $63,027 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer today, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about where the market has settled. If you buy well and keep the Pilot in good condition, you should still have a broad audience when it comes time to sell, because the model’s practicality and family-friendly reputation remain strong.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.9/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Honda Pilot safe?

The 2025 Honda Pilot earns a Top Safety Pick+ rating from the IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Honda Sensing is standard on every version and includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control. The Black Edition test vehicle also had parking sensors and a multi-view camera system.

There are a few caveats to keep in mind. The adaptive cruise control and lane-centring assist did not always behave smoothly in testing, and the road sign recognition system could be inaccurate. Even so, the Pilot’s crash-test results and standard safety coverage make it a strong choice if safety is a priority.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Pilot or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 24.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 13.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.9/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• Honda keeps the formula simple with a single powertrain and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It brings a brawnier, more truck-like look while keeping the Pilot’s familiar formula.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of value, proven family-friendly packaging, and strong owner satisfaction, the 2025 is the safer buy. If styling matters more than price, the 2026 may appeal, but price-sensitive buyers should focus on the 2025’s softer market and broader inventory.
