Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that blends everyday practicality with a stronger sense of capability than many rivals, while still offering generous space and a comfortable ride. For you, that means it suits shopping if you want a roomy, comfortable SUV without moving up to a three-row model. With 21.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Passport’s strong reliability reputation is supported by its proven V6 powertrain and straightforward packaging. For used buyers, that usually means lower ownership risk than a more complex or newly redesigned alternative, especially if you want a vehicle built around familiar hardware.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be patient and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 21.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 93 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.81% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,036 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $48,681 CAD sits slightly below last year's $55,204 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than last year. If you buy near the lower end of the current range, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure. The model’s practical appeal and broad usefulness should help support demand, even as prices adjust.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 21.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.81% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,951 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,681 CAD average.
• It offers a familiar, practical feel with proven capability.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $60,755 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $48,681 CAD average.
• It brings a thoroughly redesigned, more modern package.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current market availability, the 2025 is the strongest all-around pick. If your priority is spending less, the 2024 is the better value path. If you want the newest design and are comfortable paying more, the 2026 is the upgrade to consider.
