Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Honda Passport. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that gives you a comfortable ride, generous cargo space, and a more adventurous personality than many rivals. If you do not need a third row but want more space and capability than a compact crossover, it makes a strong case for itself. In Canada, it also gives you standard all-wheel drive, a V6, and useful everyday equipment that suits families and active buyers alike. With 30.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Honda Passport leans on Honda’s reputation for reliability, and its straightforward formula should appeal if you want a proven SUV rather than something experimental. Its comfortable ride and practical layout also support the kind of day-to-day use that tends to matter most over time. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that you may need to accept its older-feeling infotainment and less efficient fuel use.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 111 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.07% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,035 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $48,035 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,013 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become more accessible for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than last year. If you buy at the current average, you may have less immediate downside than someone who paid closer to the prior-year average. Strong demand for practical two-row SUVs can still help support values, especially when the vehicle is well equipped and in good condition. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.07% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,807 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,035 CAD average.
• It keeps the same practical, easy-to-use focus with a refreshed but familiar approach.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $60,189 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $48,035 CAD average.
• It brings a thoroughly redesigned package with more modern tech and a new look.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and satisfaction, the 2025 is the strongest all-around choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the better value play. If you want the newest design and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the upgrade path.
