Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2025 Honda Passport, and it lines up with a two-row midsize SUV that focuses on everyday practicality. It offers a comfortable ride, generous cargo space, and a package that is easier to manoeuvre than the larger Pilot, which makes it appealing if you want space without moving up to a three-row SUV. For buyers who want more capability than a compact crossover, it makes a strong case for itself. With 30.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitively priced example.

Is the 2025 Honda Passport reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Honda Passport is described as benefiting from Honda’s reputation for reliability, and its straightforward formula should appeal if you prefer a proven, practical SUV over something more experimental. It also leans on familiar hardware and useful standard equipment, which can be reassuring when you are shopping used. For long-term ownership, the main risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the vehicle has been maintained properly and suits your fuel-cost expectations.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 110 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.16% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $48,040 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $48,099 CAD sits slightly below last year's $54,142 CAD.

That price movement suggests the Passport has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer market than someone who bought a year ago. If prices continue to stabilise near the current average, resale should remain respectable rather than exceptional. The model’s broad appeal as a practical two-row SUV should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value space and comfort.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.16% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $45,635 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $48,099 CAD average.
• It keeps a practical, straightforward approach with plenty of cargo space and standard all-wheel drive.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $60,224 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $48,099 CAD average.
• It brings a thoroughly redesigned cabin and exterior with stronger tech appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, satisfaction, and current-market value, the 2025 is the primary path to consider. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better value play, while the 2026 makes sense only if you want the newer redesign and are comfortable paying a premium.
