Is the 2025 Honda Passport a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda Passport earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out as a two-row midsize SUV that blends everyday practicality with more capability than many compact crossovers, while still seating five comfortably and offering generous cargo space. Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda Passport?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Inventory: There are 112 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.79% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $47,400 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda Passport's resale value?

The current average of $47,400 CAD sits slightly below last year's $53,135 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy in at a more favourable point, but it also suggests future sellers may need to be realistic about expectations. If the market stays steady, the Passport’s current pricing could support a more manageable depreciation path from here. Its strong owner satisfaction should help keep demand healthy when you eventually sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 30.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $47,243 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $47,400 CAD average.
• It offers a practical, spacious, and reliable package with a straightforward character.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $59,526 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $47,400 CAD average.
• It brings a redesigned cabin and exterior with more user-friendly tech.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the current model-year balance of price, satisfaction, and availability. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense only if you want the redesign and are willing to pay more.

How does the 2025 Honda Passport compare to the 2025 Toyota 4Runner?

The Passport gives you a lower used price and slightly more horsepower, while the 4Runner asks for much more money. If you want a more affordable two-row SUV with solid availability, the Passport is the easier buy. If you are comparing value against off-road-oriented alternatives, the 4Runner’s higher price is the main trade-off.
