The 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid is presented as a practical, comfortable, and efficient SUV with a polished feel on the road. Its standard all-wheel drive and straightforward hybrid setup support everyday usability, while the cabin’s improved storage and larger cargo area add to its appeal. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is paying a premium for a vehicle that still has to prove its value against similarly priced alternatives.

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay disciplined.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $43,067 CAD sits slightly below last year's $48,599 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend more on condition, mileage, and equipment than on broad market momentum. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold its appeal better than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.38% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,587 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,067 CAD average.
• It prioritises practicality, comfort, and safety.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $48,302 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $43,067 CAD average.
• It adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around choice if you want a well-equipped, efficient hybrid SUV and can find a strong deal. If your priority is lower purchase price, the 2024 is the smarter value play. If you want the newest update and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the alternative to compare.
