Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.85% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,568 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,054 CAD average.
• It is roomy, comfortable, and safety-focused.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $48,379 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $43,054 CAD average.
• It adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 makes the most sense if you want the strongest balance of efficiency, comfort, and current-market value. If your priority is spending less, the 2024 is the better budget-minded path, while the 2026 is worth considering if you want the newer refresh and are comfortable paying more.
