Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 31.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.05% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,647 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $42,984 CAD average.
• It is especially roomy and comfort-focused.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $47,933 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $42,984 CAD average.
• It adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the current-year balance of price, efficiency, and practicality. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense only if you want the refresh and are comfortable paying more.
