Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 800 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.87% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $43,100 CAD sits slightly below last year's $47,820 CAD.

That softer pricing can help you buy more favourably today, but it also means future resale may depend on how much of that discount remains in the market. If prices stabilise, a well-kept example could hold value reasonably well because shoppers still seem willing to pay for this model's practicality and efficiency. If prices keep easing, your resale upside may be more limited in the near term.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.87% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,653 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,100 CAD average.
• It prioritises practicality, comfort, and safety.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $48,153 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $43,100 CAD average.
• It adds a light refresh and a TrailSport trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of value, satisfaction, and current-market availability. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter alternative; if you want the newer refresh and can spend more, the 2026 is worth a look.
