The 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid is presented as a practical, comfortable, and efficiency-focused SUV with standard all-wheel drive and a polished feel on the road. Its hybrid system is designed to deliver useful fuel savings without giving up the core strengths shoppers expect from a compact SUV. Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 740 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $43,119 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $43,130 CAD sits slightly below last year's $49,133 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the vehicle easier to buy now but may also limit upside for a future seller. If you purchase near the current average, you may have less immediate equity than buyers did a year ago. Still, the model’s broad appeal and practical strengths should help it remain attractive to used shoppers over time.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.22% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $39,650 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,130 CAD average.
• It prioritises practicality, comfort, and safety.

Consider the 2026 if:

• At $48,659 CAD, the 2026 costs more than the current year's $43,130 CAD average.
• It adds a light refresh and a new TrailSport trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the best all-around pick if you want the strongest mix of efficiency, comfort, and standard equipment. If your priority is spending less, the 2024 is the smarter value play. If you want the newer refresh and are willing to pay more, the 2026 is the upgrade path to consider.
