Is the 2025 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Honda CR-V earns a 5/5 user rating, which is a strong signal that owners are very satisfied with it. Reviewers repeatedly praise its excellent fuel efficiency, comfortable interior, and top-notch tech features, while also noting standout handling and performance. That lines up well with the CR-V’s practical, comfort-focused role as a compact crossover built for everyday use. With 32.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you also have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The user feedback points to a vehicle that feels dependable and trouble-free in day-to-day use, with owners especially appreciating its efficiency and comfort over the long term. That kind of consistent praise matters if you want a used SUV you can count on rather than one that demands attention. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the CR-V’s core reliability and more about finding one that has been maintained properly and not priced above its condition.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Honda CR-V?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully without feeling rushed.

• Deal availability: 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 751 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $36,564 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $36,564 CAD sits slightly below last year's $40,752 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to sell soon. For a future seller, the current trend means you should expect the CR-V to hold value better than many mainstream SUVs, but not necessarily appreciate in the short term. Strong owner satisfaction and broad appeal should still support steady demand when it is time to resell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 10.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2025 CR-V is the better choice if you want the newest version in this price window and value strong owner satisfaction, broad practicality, and a market that is giving you some negotiating room. If you are more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth considering, especially if you can find similar equipment for less.
