The 2025 Genesis G70 is a moderate-market choice, with pricing that sits below last year’s average and enough inventory to give you some room to shop carefully. It also has a relatively small share of listings marked as good or great deals, so the best examples may take a bit more searching.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Genesis G70?

This looks like a moderate buyer’s market, especially if you are willing to compare listings closely and move quickly on strong examples.

• Deal availability: 18% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 50 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.73% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $42,477 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $43,381 CAD sits slightly below last year's $58,409 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has moved in buyers’ favour, which can make the car easier to purchase now but may also limit near-term resale upside. If you buy at today’s average, your future resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is equipped. For a future seller, the current pricing trend points to a market that is still adjusting, so holding value may be more about buying well than expecting quick appreciation.

Should I buy a 2025 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 18% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 25.73% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $40,542 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $43,381 CAD average.
• The 2024 offers sharp styling, strong handling, and a compelling value proposition.

The bottom line:
You should start with the 2025 if you want the current market’s broader selection and are focused on finding a well-priced example. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it undercuts the current average while still offering many of the same core strengths.
