How much does the 2025 Ford Mustang cost?

Is the 2025 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Mustang earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It keeps the familiar front-engine, rear-wheel drive formula, comes in coupe and convertible body styles, and offers a wide spread of trims and engine choices, so you can shop for anything from a more accessible version to a more performance-focused model. For Canadian buyers, that broad appeal makes it easy to match the car to your priorities, whether you want classic Mustang character or a more serious weekend driver.

32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Mustang is still a modern take on an iconic sports car, but you should weigh that appeal against reported issues such as powertrain vibrations, inconsistent interior build quality, limited-slip differential problems, and electronic stability control concerns. If you are buying used, a thorough inspection and a careful review of service history matter because those issues can affect ownership confidence over time.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Mustang?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 238 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.13% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,708 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $46,194 CAD sits slightly below last year's $57,124 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means a future seller may face more price sensitivity than before. If you buy at the right number and keep the car in strong condition, you can help protect your exit value. The Mustang’s broad recognition and strong enthusiast appeal should continue to support demand, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 19.13% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $52,946 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $46,194 CAD average.
• It offers strong value with upgraded interior and technology.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the better-priced option with strong owner satisfaction and a wide range of trims. If you are price-sensitive and want a similar Mustang experience, the 2024 can still make sense, but you should expect to pay more for it.
