Is the 2025 Ford Mustang a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction for this model year.

The 2025 Mustang keeps the familiar front-engine, rear-wheel drive formula intact, and it remains available in coupe and convertible body styles. It also gives you a broad range of choices, from EcoBoost trims to V8-powered versions, so you can shop for the balance of performance and accessibility that fits your needs.

With 32.7% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is meaningful market opportunity if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Ford Mustang reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Mustang’s appeal is supported by its familiar layout, broad trim range, and continued production at Ford’s Flat Rock facility. At the same time, reported issues include powertrain vibrations, inconsistent interior build quality, problems with the limited-slip differential, and issues with the electronic stability control system.

For used buyers, that means a careful inspection and a complete service history matter, especially if you want to reduce long-term ownership risk.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Mustang?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can be choosy without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 245 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $44,708 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Mustang's resale value?

The current average of $46,495 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,014 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favourable entry point. For future resale, the current softness may limit short-term appreciation, but it can also make the car easier to move if you buy well.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Mustang or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 16.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $53,540 CAD, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $46,495 CAD average.
• It offers upgraded interior and technology.

The bottom line: If you want the better value proposition, the 2025 is the stronger starting point because prices are lower and deal availability is decent. If you are focused on the most budget-friendly path and want to compare closely, the 2024 is still worth a look, but it asks for more money up front.
