Used 2025 Ford F-150 for Sale near Prince Edward Island

How much does the 2025 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 21.75% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,991 listings available, which suggests healthy inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford F-150 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.33/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

The 2025 F-150 is built for buyers who want a full-size truck with broad configuration choice, serious capability, and modern tech. The overview points to three cab styles, three bed lengths, eight trim levels, and six powertrains, so you can tailor it to work, family duty, or off-road use.

The trade-offs are clear: fuel economy is poor, manoeuvrability is poor, and value is only average. Even so, the market availability signal is solid, with 36.3% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 F-150’s appeal comes from its breadth of choice and its reputation for doing many jobs well, from daily driving to towing and hauling. The expert notes also point to strong capability, easy-to-use technology, and a truck that feels substantial and well sorted in use.

Its performance notes highlight a robust V8 option, strong towing and payload figures, and a powertrain lineup that includes more efficient alternatives. The cost-effectiveness notes also frame the truck as a practical all-rounder rather than a bargain-basement buy.

If you plan to keep it long term, the main ownership risk is that higher running costs and size-related wear-and-tear can add up faster than they would in a smaller vehicle.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford F-150?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Tremor stands out with off-road-focused hardware, exclusive design details, and a more rugged look than the XLT it builds on. It also adds body-colour and black exterior details, Active Orange accents, and all-terrain tyres, while the cabin gets orange trim touches that help it feel distinct.
• Powertrain: The Tremor can be had with a 3.5-litre V6 or an optional 5.0-litre V8. The V8 sounds especially good and delivers 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 is described as more capable and more fuel efficient.
• Safety package: BlueCruise is standard starting with the Tremor trim, and the 2025 model adds oncoming-traffic detection for automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, intersection braking assist, predictive speed assist, Road Edge Detection, Active Blind-Spot Assist, and Driver State Detection.
• Infotainment: The truck uses a 12-inch productivity screen and a 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are onboard, and the native navigation and voice recognition systems are praised for their usability.
• Fuel efficiency: The Tremor EcoBoost is rated at 12.9 L/100 km combined, while the V8 is rated at 13.7 L/100 km combined. In testing, the V8 averaged 14.9 L/100 km.

Which 2025 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, XLT, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Platinum Plus, and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the entry point if you want the F-150’s core capability and broad utility without paying for extra luxury or off-road hardware.
• XLT: This is the best-value starting point for most shoppers because it underpins the Tremor and gives you a strong mix of equipment and flexibility.
• Lariat: Choose this if you want a more upscale daily driver with more comfort and technology than the lower trims.
• Tremor: This is the one to buy if you want the best blend of off-road hardware, distinctive styling, and serious all-round capability.
• King Ranch: Pick this if you want a more premium, western-themed truck with a richer feel than the mainstream trims.
• Platinum: This suits you if you want a luxury-leaning F-150 with a more upscale presentation.
• Platinum Plus: This is for buyers who want the most decadent, high-end version of the truck.
• Raptor: Choose this if you want the most extreme off-road-focused performance model in the lineup.

BlueCruise is standard starting with the Tremor trim.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford F-150?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,991 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.75% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $61,141 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $61,141 CAD sits slightly below last year's $78,139 CAD.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can make the truck more attractive to used buyers today but less favourable for sellers trying to maximise return. If you buy at the current average or below, you may have less downside risk than someone who bought when prices were higher.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 safe?

The 2025 Ford F-150 earns five-star overall ratings from NHTSA and a four-star rollover resistance rating. It also scores well in IIHS testing.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s standard safety suite includes oncoming-traffic detection for automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, intersection braking assist, predictive speed assist, Road Edge Detection, Active Blind-Spot Assist, and Driver State Detection. BlueCruise is standard starting with the Tremor trim, and it adds hands-free driving capability with clear status communication through the driver display, head-up display, and audible warnings.

The main caveat is that BlueCruise is impressive but not infallible, so you still need to stay ready to take over when road markings, construction, glare, or lane changes confuse the system.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 21.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 adds a slew of new driver-assistance systems and a new Platinum Plus luxury package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $55,276 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $61,141 CAD average.
• It adds thoughtful updates, including a standard 12-inch touchscreen and an updated BlueCruise system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It reshuffles equipment across the lineup and keeps the F-150’s huge configuration range front and centre.

The bottom line: If you want the newest safety tech and the broadest current-market shopping pool, the 2025 is the better target. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to compare the next model-year equipment shuffle before buying.
