Used 2025 Ford F-150 for Sale near Nova Scotia

How much does the 2025 Ford F-150 cost?

Prices have softened 23.99% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,963 listings available, which suggests you have a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford F-150 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.3/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It stands out for its sheer breadth of configuration, with three cab styles, three bed lengths, eight trim levels and six powertrains, so you can tailor it to work, family or recreation needs. The trade-offs are familiar for a full-size pickup: poor fuel economy, poor manoeuvrability and only average value proposition.

The model’s 34.6% good-or-great deal share suggests there are worthwhile listings to find if you shop carefully.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Ford F-150 is built around versatility, with a lineup broad enough to cover almost any light-duty pickup task. Its expert assessment also points to serious substance across the range, plus strong capability on and off the road.

The performance notes highlight a robust V8 option, strong towing and payload capability, and a truck that feels composed in demanding use. Ford also adds a slew of new standard and optional driver-assistance systems for 2025, which supports day-to-day confidence.

The cost-effectiveness notes mention that Ford’s first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the truck’s size, fuel use and manoeuvrability can make it more demanding to live with over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford F-150?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Tremor builds on the XLT trim level with off-roading equipment, exclusive design details, body-colour and black exterior details, Active Orange accents and exclusive wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires. It is one of three off-road-focused versions, and the cabin uses orange accents and stitching to set it apart.
• Powertrain: The Tremor’s 5.0-litre V8 produces 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque, while the twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 is more capable and more fuel efficient. The V8 sounds sensational, but the EcoBoost delivers better fuel economy and more power and torque.
• Safety package: BlueCruise is standard starting with the Tremor trim, and the 2025 model adds oncoming-traffic detection for automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, intersection braking assist, predictive speed assist, Road Edge Detection and Active Blind-Spot Assist.
• Infotainment: The truck uses a 12-inch productivity screen and a 12-inch Sync 4 infotainment touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto are onboard, and the native navigation system and voice recognition technology are strong.
• Fuel efficiency: The Tremor EcoBoost is rated at 12.9 litres per 100 kilometres combined, while the V8 is rated at 13.7 L/100 km. In testing, the V8 averaged 14.9 L/100 km over a week of city and highway driving.

Which 2025 Ford F-150 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford F-150 is offered in 8 trim levels: XL, STX, XLT, Tremor, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum and Raptor.

Here's the short version:

• XL: This is the entry point if you want the broad F-150 experience at the lowest rung, but the content here points to the Tremor as the more distinctive value play once you want added capability and equipment.
• STX: This trim sits above the base model and helps broaden the lineup, but the available information points more strongly to the XLT-based trims for shoppers who want a clearer equipment jump.
• XLT: This is the trim that the Tremor builds on, so it is the key stepping stone if you want a more equipped truck without jumping straight to the off-road-focused versions.
• Tremor: This is the best-value trim if you want the strongest mix of off-road hardware, V8 character, standard 4WD and added driver-assistance tech. It adds skid plates, a locking rear axle, Trail Control, Trail Turn Assist and a more distinctive look.
• Lariat: This trim is part of the broader ladder toward more luxury-focused versions, but the provided content does not detail its unique equipment.
• King Ranch: This is one of the upscale trims in the lineup, aimed at buyers who want more premium appeal.
• Platinum: This trim is another upscale choice, and the new Platinum Plus option package adds extra luxury-focused appeal for buyers who want a more upscale truck.
• Raptor: This is the most performance-oriented off-road model in the lineup, positioned above the Tremor.

The Tremor’s safety package starts with BlueCruise, and the 2025 model adds several new driver-assistance features across the lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford F-150?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,963 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.99% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $60,103 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford F-150's resale value?

The current average of $60,166 CAD sits slightly below last year's $79,159 CAD.

That drop suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may face a softer pricing environment than owners did a year ago. If you buy now, you are entering at a lower average price point, which can help reduce the risk of overpaying. Strong configuration breadth and broad buyer appeal should still support demand when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford F-150 safe?

The 2025 Ford F-150 earns five-star ratings from NHTSA and scores well in IIHS crash tests.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford’s BlueCruise hands-free driving technology is standard starting with the Tremor trim, and the 2025 model adds oncoming-traffic detection for automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, intersection braking assist, predictive speed assist, Road Edge Detection and Active Blind-Spot Assist. The system also includes Driver State Detection, and Ford uses the 12-inch productivity screen, head-up display and audible warnings to communicate its status clearly.

A key caveat is that BlueCruise is impressive but not infallible, so you still need to stay ready to take over when road markings, glare or construction confuse the system.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford F-150 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 34.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 23.99% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds a slew of new standard and optional driver-assistance systems, plus a new Platinum Plus option package.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $54,440 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $60,166 CAD average.
• It offers broad usefulness for work, family and recreation.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It keeps the F-150’s broad configuration flexibility and versatility focus.

The bottom line: Choose the 2025 if you want the newest safety and convenience updates, plus the widest current-market shopping pool. If price matters most, the 2024 is the smarter value play, while the 2026 makes sense if you want to compare the next model year’s configuration changes before buying.
