Used 2025 Ford Expedition for Sale near Tecumseh, ON

How much does the 2025 Ford Expedition cost?

Prices have softened 11.40% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 156 listings available, which suggests you have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Ford Expedition earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Technology.

It is aimed at you if you want a large SUV with generous interior space and strong towing capability, and the all-new 2025 redesign adds a tech-forward cabin that feels impressively futuristic. The trade-offs are that the engines are thirsty and some tech functions require an additional subscription.

The Expedition’s market position looks healthy, with 35.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2025 Expedition is presented as a capable, well-equipped full-size SUV with a strong standard feature set and a powertrain that handles its size without drama. Its standard 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 is described as having no problem bringing the vehicle up to highway speed, and the cabin is tuned for easy everyday use despite the Expedition’s size.

Ford also includes a year of complimentary access to its connected-services package, which helps offset some ownership cost early on. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the truck’s size, fuel use, and subscription-dependent tech can make ownership more expensive than the purchase price alone suggests.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Active trim already brings ActiveX synthetic leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the 24-inch panoramic driver information display, while the King Ranch adds significantly nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating. The Tremor trim also adds integrated off-roading lamps.
• Powertrain: Every 2025 Expedition uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6, with 400 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque in standard form and 440 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque in Tremor trim. In Canada, four-wheel drive is standard on all trims.
• Safety package: Ford’s standard suite includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is available on all trim levels, with a 90-day trial included.
• Infotainment: The Expedition uses a 13.2-inch touchscreen with Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store, plus wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay projection. The system works best with the Ford Connectivity Package, which includes one year of complimentary access before a paid subscription is required.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is terrible, with Natural Resources Canada rating it at 15.4 L/100 km in the city, 10.7 L/100 km on the highway, and 13.3 L/100 km combined.

Which 2025 Ford Expedition trim should I buy?

The 2025 Ford Expedition is offered in 4 trim levels: Active, Platinum, Tremor, and King Ranch.

Here's the short version:

• Active: This is the best-value trim because it already includes a lot of the equipment you’d normally expect to pay more for, including tri-zone automatic climate control, power-folding rear seats, and the 24-inch panoramic driver information display. It also gives you the Expedition’s core space and capability without forcing you into a luxury price bracket.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want a more upscale Expedition experience and are willing to pay for it. It sits above the Active and is aimed at buyers who want more premium content than the standard trim.
• Tremor: This is the one to choose if you want the most off-road-ready Expedition. It adds the high-output engine, increased ground clearance, all-terrain tyres, skid plates, and an electronic locking rear axle, making it the right pick for buyers who plan to venture beyond pavement.
• King Ranch: Pick this if you want the most luxurious feel in the lineup. The review highlights significantly nicer materials and Del Rio leather seating, so it suits you if comfort and presentation matter more than value.

BlueCruise 1.4 is available on all trim levels, but it requires a subscription after the included trial period.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Ford Expedition?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 156 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.40% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $88,238 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Ford Expedition's resale value?

The current average of $88,238 CAD sits slightly below last year's $99,595 CAD.

That softer pricing can be good news if you are buying now, but it also means a future seller may face a more competitive market if prices continue to ease. The current range suggests there is still meaningful demand, especially for well-equipped examples and trims that offer strong capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Ford Expedition safe?

The 2025 Ford Expedition has not yet been rated by NHTSA. The IIHS has applied its rating to the 2025 model, but the crash testing was performed on a previous-generation 2023 model, which received only Moderate scores in the small overlap front and updated moderate overlap front tests.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Ford equips the Expedition with a strong standard safety package that includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, Pro-Trailer Hitch Assist, and Pro-Trailer Backup Assist. BlueCruise 1.4 is also available on all trim levels, with a 90-day trial included.

The main caveat is that the available IIHS crash results are based on a previous-generation vehicle, so they may not fully reflect the updated Expedition’s crashworthiness.

Should I buy a 2025 Ford Expedition or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 35.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.40% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2025 model is all-new, adds a tech-forward cabin, and introduces the Tremor trim for more off-road ability.

The bottom line: If you want the newest Expedition with the most modern cabin, the 2025 is the clear pick. If you are more price-sensitive, the softer used-market pricing makes this a good year to shop carefully and target well-priced listings rather than paying a premium for the newest example.
