Used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse for Sale nearSaskatoon, SK

How much does the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse cost?

Prices have softened 7.39% compared to this time last year, making it a favourable time to shop this model year.

There are 188 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse a good car?

Yes — the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.17/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 10/10.

It stands out as one of the larger midsize three-row SUVs, with broad family-friendly appeal thanks to its stylish design, plenty of cargo space, and impressive technology. The standard trailering equipment also makes it easier to use the Traverse’s towing capability.

The trade-offs are the unpleasant engine note and the cheap-feeling interior plastics. The fussy wiper controls and aggravating third-row folding process also make everyday use less satisfying.

With 33.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Traverse’s reliability case is helped by its broad standard equipment and its family-focused design, including strong utility and a generous safety package. Its standard trailering setup also adds everyday usefulness without requiring you to hunt for a separate package.

The 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder is described as making plenty of power, and the vehicle’s technology and safety systems are presented as well integrated and easy to use. Chevrolet also includes three years of access to Super Cruise when you choose the Enhanced Driving Package.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the quality concerns around the powertrain sound, interior materials, and awkward usability may continue to affect satisfaction over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The available trims in Canada are LT, Z71, and RS. The base version is less equipped than the others, while the Z71 adds the rugged hardware and appearance that make it the off-road-oriented choice.
• Powertrain: You get a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque. It can feel eager, but the engine note is unrefined and front-wheel-drive operation can bring wheel spin and torque steer.
• Safety package: Chevrolet Safety Assist is standard, and it includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat. The Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.
• Infotainment: The standard 17.7-inch touchscreen includes Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, OnStar connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. An 11-inch digital instrument panel is also standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 11.2 L/100 km in combined driving, and it averaged 10.9 L/100 km during testing.

Which 2025 Chevrolet Traverse trim should I buy?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse is offered in 3 trim levels: LT, Z71, and RS.

Here's the short version:

• LT: This is the trim to start with if you want the Traverse’s core strengths without paying for the more specialised versions. You still get the standard technology and safety equipment that define this model year, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• Z71: Choose this if you want the most rugged version. It adds off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, a skid plate, red tow hooks, a more capable Twin Clutch AWD system, Terrain mode, hill descent control, and extra ground clearance.
• RS: Pick this if you want the sportier-looking trim and are willing to pay more for the top-end presentation.

Chevrolet’s standard safety package is broad across the lineup, while the Enhanced Driving Package adds Super Cruise and remote-parking technology.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Chevrolet Traverse?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 188 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.39% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $52,429 CAD, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse's resale value?

The current average of $52,429 CAD sits slightly below last year's $56,612 CAD.

That softer pricing suggests the market has become more favourable for buyers, which can make it harder for sellers to hold firm on asking prices. If you plan to sell later, you may need to price competitively to stand out against the current inventory.

The Traverse’s strong technology and family-friendly utility should help keep it relevant with shoppers who want a spacious three-row SUV. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2025 Chevrolet Traverse safe?

The 2025 Chevrolet Traverse earns a Top Safety Pick award from IIHS and a five-star overall safety rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevrolet equips every 2025 Traverse with a generous list of driver aids. Standard features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, active blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, intersection braking, rear automatic braking, automatic high-beam headlights, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and a Safety Alert Seat.

The Enhanced Driving Package adds hands-free Super Cruise and remote-parking technology, along with the digital rearview mirror and a 10-speaker Bose premium sound system. Super Cruise is a standout hands-free system, but it is not standard on every trim.

Should I buy a 2025 Chevrolet Traverse or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.39% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It adds standard trailering equipment and available Super Cruise.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $48,751 CAD, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $52,429 CAD average.
• It introduced the redesign and brought more standard driver aids.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It broadens the Traverse’s role as a spacious crossover alternative to larger family vehicles.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the latest equipment and the strongest mix of technology, safety, and towing convenience. If price is your main concern, the 2024 is the value play, especially if you can find one with the features you want at a lower asking price.
